Moreover if India is entirely what you say so many patients from Southeast Asia, Gulf Arab countries wouldn't have been to private hospitals in India for treatment. Look at Apollo hospital in Chennai. It's teeming with Arab patients from Gulf countries. Those who say that have only been to Delhi, Varanasi, adjoining regions which are truly horrible. They haven't even been to Northeast India, Northwestern Himalayan regions, South India. Those who have been to those places never say that. India is extremely diverse and no sane person will perpetuate the image of Delhi, Varanasi to the entire country.

Simply put, having spent over 3 months travelling the country I started with that mindset, after some time you get a good idea when your being ripped off or not, whats a good price and first, second or third copy prices. If you take the first price usually they will talk in Hindi taking the piss out of you for taking such a bad deal then they will push their luck
