@@Gventures me and my girlfriend should thank you. We love your videos. Great vibes and as much information as needed Although Egypt and Cairo are such controversial there is something to make you want to visit again. We already have booked our second trip and thinking about our third(probably Aswan). This time we'll devote time for downtown, new Cairo and giza exploration.
@Gventures3 ай бұрын
@@aceksouras Ah, Aswan is gorgeous, that'll be a fun trip for next time! But yeah there's so much to see just in this area around Cairo! Aside from historical sites like the Giza Pyramids and the further pyramids of Saqqara and Darshur, you have Islamic and Coptic Cairo, the museums, and just tons of amazing places to explore and food to eat in the city. If you're willing to go a bit further (you'll need a car or a driver for this) the Fayoum Oasis is incredible! I think one of my favorite sites ever is Meidum Pyramid and Mastaba 17 (which is near the Oasis. If you haven't seen that video I'll leave a link here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/omSnqZucjMScnMk) But the Fayoum Oasis is littered with ancient and even prehistoric history! From Wadi Al Hitan (Valley of the Whales) to Middle Kingdom Temple Ruins, it's a beautiful place to check out. The tough thing about Egypt is there's just too much to see and for most everyone, not enough time. I've been living here for over 2.5 years and I still haven't seen it all! It's crazy 🤣❤🇪🇬

Oh Gisselle, you really excelled yourself this time! If I wasn't smiling and tapping my fingers to your music, I was laughing, or I was feeling emotional for all these sights and sounds of Egypt which brought back so many memories! But I have to admit to gasping with you at 7:30 when I thought you were taking a leap off the minaret!! You knew what you were jumping onto on the outside, but we didn't!! 😂 You are so good with the stallholders - always cheerful - and I think you bargain quite strongly when necessary. For example with the scarf at 18:05 (I'm glad you found one to your liking at last!), and with the felucca ride at 32:20 - you made me so envious, as there is nothing more relaxing than a felucca ride on the Nile - I have done this many times in Luxor and Aswan. Your scooter driver at 29:56 on the way to the river was a little bit crazy with his driving skills, but you made it! And you certainly know how to cross a busy road at 36:47 - omg! All-in-all you gave us a fantastic itinerary for your 20-dollar day in Cairo, and you timed it perfectly! Your list of expenditure at 38:04 was most useful. Thank you so much for spending your time taking us around your city, informing us about what can be achieved on a low budget. I really enjoyed this video!! 😀William

Oh my God, I never even considered it to be a question as to what I was jumping down onto after climbing over the small wall in the minaret 😂 That's hilarious.
