I’m sure the listing agent did research on sold comps. Pricing went up about 30% in equity through the pandemic due to buyer demand. It’s cooling off now and becoming a more balanced market.

@Billings Montana Homes the truth of the matter is that this is a $278K to 300K max home, I see this as ridiculous and a bizarr to ask $599 K for such home with 3 br and 1 rm in basement, that room dose not even count, how could a family live on one floor and another family member live in basement, is not that stupid to suggest that this is a 4 br home, I can understand if the house set on river front or have 2 acres with it or face a forest, I just came from billing 3 months ago there are few neaborhoods that you can say I would like to live here but the rest are like gettous with broken cars or mobile home in the driveway with broken pick up truck, house owners should be somehow responsible of what they are asking for thier homes, not beacuse California market is setting on a rocket to the moon that does not mean a city like billing shoukd asking for the same price range, when you compare what city like billing can offer to its residents compare to any city in California, you will find there are no offerings or even comparecent not to count the weather, realtors also should advise sellers of what responsible and what not in home price asking.

@@TheElliasnardini1 it’s just our market here. I don’t even know if that home was built at the price you feel it’s worth. Materials cost more to get here. We have a shortage of labor and when there’s a shortage of labor it costs more. Simple supply and demand. But I absolutely respect your view and feedback on it! At the end of the day a home is only worth what someone is willing to pay. This is an active listing at $599,000 and maybe someone will feel it’s worth something in the 500’s.
