I ordered a large hoop. It should arrive today! I’m super excited. But I am working my way through all your videos and shorts. I am so grateful you’ve got your channel. I love how you explain all the different parts of the body and movements that come together to hoop. It’s encouraging me to be more aware of how my body moves and works together. You give us more than just the basics. I love that. I still haven’t gotten it all figured out yet, but I’m getting closer! And you are a mighty inspiration! Thank you.

Bee , you're awsome. I started skipping in the past year because I wanted intense full body workouts thatI could do anywhere without a lot of fuss. Now I've ordered a hoop and am looking forward to see how it goes. You are a inspiration. I think the last time I hooped was around 1970.
@BeeVargaTheHulahooper10 ай бұрын
You got this! Skipping can help you get started easier than those who never skipped... because you will then already have epic cardio fitness! Also coordination! It was a few years ago that I was hired by a skipping company when I lived in the UK. I couldn't skip yet at the time, or never properly tried really... but they needed to train somebody up to do displays and represent their brand. They said to me that because they saw me hooping, they didn't doubt I would be good at skipping.... I was not feeling that confident about it but they were right! The 2 toys felt so similar! It is the revolutions... manipulation of a toy to spin around and do stunts with. Even the tempo of the revolutions almost match... they are both quite fast, high energy activities & improve motor skills & balance & they are both super fun with so many creative ways you can use them to move playfully! Have a lot of fun with your new toy & keep up with both skipping & hooping - they will be great variety for your full body 🫶💋

Sure, it’s important to research and study and have discipline and follow proven formulas but we need a wiggle and giggle to stay motivated and to enjoy it all. Let’s just smile and laugh- it’s medicinal ❤️❤️❤️🤡💐🫶🏼

I like your videos and advice. Do you do other workouts to achieve strong abdomen or mostly hoola hoop exercise? Thanks
@BeeVargaTheHulahooper Жыл бұрын
Hello Brittany, I only hula hoop. Where I live at the moment is pretty much the middle of nowhere... no gyms around, outside it's snow up to my knees... so can't even exercise outdoors or anywhere else other than at home. We rent a super tiny flat... What I do is I hula hoop in the corner of the kitchen - that is where I film all my videos, too... and I've only been hooping for years - I am a single mum, it is a lot to juggle childcare and work all alone to be mum & dad with only 24 hours available like every other human being. It took me some time to decide to claim time for myself. It was not easy to not feel like a victim. The hardest thing for me was to work on my mindset - to pick up my hoop even though I have the kid at home, I work insane hours sedentarily sitting at a desk & I was in the habit of feeling sorry for myself for not having time or energy for myself ever again. Before I was a mum I could just go to a gym or dance studio & did whatever I wanted... Now I hardly can fit in my daily 45 minutes of hooping without being interrupted... it felt like my life has become an obstacle course. But then I fine-tuned my hooping workouts to help with gaining lean muscle mass & now I am in a better shape than when I was when I had all day... because I am not over-training and I do higher intensity workouts with my hoop than ever before. Simply because I have to make every minute count with a kid & work. So interestingly my obstacles have become my advantages. Not sure what you're trying to achieve or what obstacles you are facing but you can achieve all that you desire, you have all it takes & it just takes a shift of mindset. Happy Hooping, Gorgeous 💗

@@BeeVargaTheHulahooper I enjoy understanding your personal stength to move past life challenges. I know its harder than it looks on video because of responsibilities. Mental and physical strength is very important, diet too. You a a true inspiration for me and your videos are most genuine i have seen in a long time. There are other channels that don't give enough guidance and its noticable that they're not displaying their true personality. Thank for all your dedication.

Thanks. This was informative and inspiring. I did notice that you tend to spin the hoop in the same direction. I do too. I can spin the other way but not as well. Is spinning the”other way” important.? I really connected with the diagnostic power of watching others hoop. Hurrahs.! ..and well done.
@BeeVargaTheHulahooper11 ай бұрын
Hello Martin 💖 thank you for your kind comment 🙏🫶 I have been spinning the same way for nearly 15 years now... when I teach sometimes I demonstrate things the other way to help those learners who spin the other way - otherwise, I always spin the same way. BUT UNILATERAL MOVES I DO BOTH SIDES! still: my hoop always spins the same way. Interestingly hoopers talk a lot about having to spin the other way and they are scared of a 3pack... but when they do unilateral moves, they don't want to count repetitions or duration of time spent on each side. This blows my mind... they think it's enough to sort of do same amount on the other side or just flow... and then they flow the other direction but not take unilateral moves into consideration. Hooping around the waist is not a unilateral move... so I don't think anyone can switch off one side of their abs to do just the other. A 6pack is a 6pack, it won't turn into 3 because of hooping 1 direction. You will hear and read lots of interesting hooper information. 3 packs included 🤪 I did a video about this a while ago, it's here if you're interested kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJTLf2ZnhLysna8

Hi Bee, where is the best place to buy one of your weighted hoops please? (Amanda of Basingstoke) x
@BeeVargaTheHulahooper Жыл бұрын
Hello Amanda, I do not sell any hoops at all. When I lived in Basingstoke I used to but I left the UK in 2017... there is a great hoop for beginners online which is same like what I used and recommend and it is this: amzn.to/38EcFjl the diameter is 39" which is great for waist and hips, even shoulders and in general it may look big but to be able to keep it up and move about, beginner grown-ups need this size. I hope you like it & treat yourself and hoop happily for the rest of 2023 💗 and many more years 💋

you are so awesome and beautiful.... I hope all is well in your world. I am slowly progressing with my waist hooping. (Thanks for all the great content) I am so hopeful that the hula hooping I am now trying to do on my arms and legs will help with my skin... I think there is still fat in my arms, legs and tummy. I'm not sure if it is loose skin or skin filled with fat? I lost the 118 lbs very slowly. I drink a lot of water and eat mainly plant based whole food. My Weight Watchers coach Stephanie Klein says slow weight loss is sexy weight loss....ie less loose skin.... how can I tell? If I still have fat to lose ????? I am A 58 year ol;d woman 5'4 " 145 pounds. I weighed 263 pounds Dec 2019... I hit my goal weight this week ,,,,BUT now My tummy and arms seem fat ? I wonder if I need a gym or a Doctor lol.... I am super proud of myself .... I am a bit curious ........ Thank You in advance for your time. I know your time is valuable.... I can't afford the studio. Do you have A tip jar on your chanel.....Suzie D.
@BeeVargaTheHulahooper Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words 💖 I obviously cannot see you so cannot tell what that loose skin is but probably you are going to get it all firm and toned as long as you keep going. A bit of muscle always helps - so exercise is definitely a great way to give the loose skin support and encourage it to reorganise. Nutrition to go together with the activities can help. I like to include lots of sunflower and pumpkin and sesame seeds... skin needs of course water but also lots of micronutrient, too. These days when it's about weight loss the majority focus on calories and carbs and fats and all... but really it is all the others that one needs for skin and hair and nails and hormones... get lots of divine nutrition and movement that helps you gain muscle mass. That boosts metabolism but also gives your skin a makeover. Try and spin the hoop not just around the waist. It is tempting to take it easy I know. Most people cannot be bothered learning tricks but they ask me how to get leaner and toned... well not by just waist hooping for sure. So variety with movement and nutrition helps. Spin the hoop everywhere where you want better skin 💪💪💪💪

My skin is in a better condition NOW than when I was 17 years old! I'm not even joking. Back then I had cellulite all over my legs and core. It blows my mind how with hooping and spinning the hoop on all body parts I could get my skin look better at the age of 40 after having a kid than when I was only 17... hooping does work! Give all body parts a chance to feel the benefits. I don't do tricks because I need entertainment... I don't care about how many tricks I can do. I don't do tricks to create a huge list so I can impress hoopers with my huge list. I do them because I want to impress myself when i look in the mirror it makes me feel pumped... I wasted so many years when I was younger, hiding in dark baggy clothes because I felt bad about my size and quality of my skin... and now the older I am getting the firmer and leaner I am. I'm not even stressing about it or forcing it. It's just effortless and it feels like wellness and goodness and if only I knew back then what I know now... but it is super doable, your skin will reward you for all the love and care and pampering. Just believe in yourself 💖💖💖💖💖 you have all it takes 💖💖💖

@Suzie D. also change the chatter in your head. Not sure how you feel about the things you eat but usually people worry about eating too much and feel bad about what they ate and believe it is deprivation that it takes to achieve their dreams... when in reality we need to eat more, we need more goodness, more good fats, more vitamins, more minerals, more fresh air, more sunshine, more movement, more love. So when you eat the almonds or Brazil nuts or sunflower seeds or honey or avocado: tell yourself that it is exactly what your body's been craving all your life, it is exactly what you never gave it... it looks the way it looks because it needs nourishment. We all are being restructured all the time. Cells die and get replaced. Give your body a chance to replace cells that were born in abundance and love and care. Not deprivation and worry but absolute abundant tender loving care and faith 💖 may sound too treehugger but that's how I eat. Just ate some almond butter and dried apricots and some apples and I focused on how beautiful they taste and how all my cells are clapping inside of me, a round of applause, epic building blocks are being delivered, lots of happy cells will be made.... make your body happy 🙏💋😚

Thank you for leaving a kind comment 🙏 💖 my mother had a slipped disc when she was young, too and she told me about all the pain and discomfort that she'd been through. It must have been insanely hard to experience this at the age of 15. Well done for looking into exercise 👏 most people would use anything as an excuse to not ever even think about exercising. When exercise is what makes us stronger and more resilient. I hope your quality of life has improved lots over the years and you're able to do most things you would like to.

@BeeVargaTheHulahooper yes I think upon reflection, it psychologically hurt me. How will hula hooping affect my lower back? I want to start, but im nervous.
@BeeVargaTheHulahooper Жыл бұрын
@nada6584 it is hard to tell from here, it can be very different how everyone recovers and participates in activities after such an experience. If someone is able to keep moving about and stay fairly active, that helps their overall stability and mobility at the same time. But if movement had been very painful and avoided, that leads to more weakness and instability. If you have an opportunity to try a hoop that is not heavy but large, that would be the most helpful. I never recommend weighted hula hoops to anyone but especially not in your case. A weighted hula hoop is easy to find though... it is harder to find a good hoop. If you look on etsy or ebay you may find someone who makes hoops. That would make it possible to have a large enough hoop made for you that is not too heavy. If you find a hoop maker in your country, they just have to know your size, age, fitness level and they will be able to help you. The larder the hoop the easier it is to keep it spinning. A small hoop would be too strenuous to use for you at the start for sure. You will eventually be able to use a smaller hoop but it's better to start off with a hoop that is allowing you to move at a slower pace. A small hoop moves fast and almost pushes you to move suddenly. A larger diameter hoop you have time to act slower and figure things out. A seller who makes hoops in your country you can absolutely find on etsy or ebay and they will know exactly what is best for you. You've got this 💖💖💖 it's gentle enough of an exercise. My mom can do it, too even though she had a series of slipped disc surgeries when she was young. Now she's in her late 60s and she can still hula hoop.
