I remember commenting under a Nitty Gritty post about why couldn’t they have dealt with the situation more amicably and I remember a young lady saying Nitty Gritty was actually doing some wicked things secretly and was actually behind the death of one of his girlfriends. Sluggy and Cat altercation was before Nitty Gritty arrive,but Cat bad him up and according to my youth dem Cat kick him up when him couldn't produce amy money as one of the promoters,but Sluggy never leave at the time until when the incident took place him tek way himself fast.the first call I got Supercat sh**t Nitty Gritty and Sluggy Ranks run..this was a surprise because di whole a dem deh deh everyday and some a hustle or whatever so animosity wasn't forseen

First off respect to you lad for making this vid. So right lets get into this - nitty gritty was my mate back in london in the 80s i knew him well. Course i also know supercat back then and we didnt get along at all was a cunt in them days, from what i see of him these days he aint bloody changed. Now...much as gritty was my mate he was absolutely barmey if he ever lost his temper at you so junior cat mashing up his car...yep he would have your lungs for breaky ill tell you that. Alot of lads bang on about cat being a bad man pure cooblers. We had a couple run ins and unless hes got a gun on him hes all bark, he wont back down but he wont get tasty either. Very para and not approachable at all Nitty gritty on the other hand he was normally a friendly geezer but if he had a problem with you he just want you brown bread no cooling down. These two togerher in this situation someone was gonna be under concrete. Im still pissed how this happened, mcuh as i cannot stand cat i cant really wrong him for defending himself main reason why i never thought to go after him.
