I was looking for a clear explanation of the front end structure, and geometry. This helped a lot. Good job! My TJ doesn't seem to have an issue, but I want to know for sure things are aligned properly. Thanks, Eric.

Good to hear it made sense. I liked that I had access to two situations for this video. Hopefully it will help others as well.

I do get bump stop after I encounter a dip on the Road . Or pot holes . Its been to long time and can’t wait to fix that once and for all .

By experience death wobble is cause by low air pressure at high speed . So make sure you air up after you haven’t use your Jeep or that you have air down after crawling or muddying !

Haven’t experienced that (yet). My experience with DW was usually due to a worn steering, suspension or tire wear or balancing issue. Sometimes an alignment can help pinpoint that’s going on.

Brilliant idea to use a GoPro or wireless camera to watch the steering wheel move/align

Viewing through a remote GoPro has come in handy for a few projects!

Reamer tips,,, NEVER run in reverse! It will destroy the cutting edge and those things are near $90 ea. Lots of cutting oil and clear the chips often. Caster, if you want your Jeep to drive really good, you want as much caster as possible! 6-8 is where it is generally set at stock. The bigger the tires you have the more caster you want (with in reason IE put 35s on with 6 is and chase that thing all over the road!)(8 plus makes it drive nice)With a solid axle you are SEVERELY limited on this adjustment! Your pinion should point directly at the transfer case output giving a zero degree deflection for that U-joint. The double Cardan at the T-case cancels itself out but can not cancel the U-joint at the diff. What does that mean? If your pinion is not right, you will likely have a vibration at some speeds unless you have locking hubs.(at low speeds IE off road vibrations are generally not felt) Adjustable ball joints can only get you 1.5 degrees which can make a big difference but often is not really enough. When I built my front axle for my TJ, I cut the inner Cs off, rotated them to get 10 degrees caster with a perfect pinion angle. Then if I need fine tuning it is well withing the confines of the adjustments. FYI cutting and re-welding Cs is a crap load of work and if not done right, your screwed but well worth it IMO.
