Why Does My Jeep Have Sloppy Steering? COMPLETE Jeep JK Front End OVERHAUL! (Steer Smarts)

Wooley happened to notice that the front end on his JKU Wrangler was feeling a little sloppy. He hit up our good friend Bubba from Black Bear Offroad to get his opinion on what a solution might be or see if he was just crazy. Bubba was on top of it and said "I know exactly what you need!" Three days later we had a pallet of Steer Smarts front end components ready to go on! And they are BEEFY!

Great vid. I have RC 2.5” lift, RC dual stabilizers , 33x18/12.5 tires and new ball joints. Professionally Aligned and still have sloppy steering and a bit of wobble. I would like a parts list of all you gents did. Do you think it will eliminate my sloppy ness? Thanks dudes!!!!

After rebuilding my front end (New wheel bearings, TerraFlex Ball joints, Moog Tie Rod, RC adj. Track bar, 2" Mopar springs and Bilstien 5100's) I still had some wandering steering. This video helps me reduce it a lot turning the adjusting screw 1/8 of a turn, clockwise, difference was night and day! kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqbHl4BoqN6cY6M

Did you buy upper and lower control arms when you put your 3.5 in lift I have the stock arms and ordered the same parts but I’m not sure if it’s necessary to get the control arms I didn’t see you having different than stock

If there is a lot of play in my tie rod or drag link that connects to both sides could that be the reason it pulls me on lane switches? I’m stuck figuring why my Jeep has piss poor steering I believe I’m getting early stages of death wobble just need your help!

I’m having the EXACT same issue. I have a 2012 rubicon and I went under and gave my drag bar a shake and it was loose like a mf. Soo idk what is causing it. My guess is the drag bar
