Playing a back 5 isnt good. Get up and press. Always have 1 less player in the press with playing a back 3. We always look better players 4 3 3.. Can someone speak about the soft pens to orher countrys but the Armstrong one wasn't. Shocking by var

Clarke had the choice of a 352 with wide players and 4231 wingers and he chose neither against Hungary. Our 343 system doesnt work well without Hickey and Dykes, and thr 343 isnt great for us against top opponents. Why has he fallen out with Gauld and Ryan Fraser? Clarke may struggle now to motivate players in qualification given how he repeatedly fails in tournaments.

You forgot the most obvious one, Tierney, one of the main reasons he set us up this way a few years ago to accommodate both Robertson and, of course, Tierney. I agree with you about Clarke, could never understand why he has ignored Ryan Gauld, it's beyond me.

Georgia beating Portugal 2-0, meaning that the side that finished 4th in our qualifying group, miles behind us, is now headed for the knock out stages in their first ever appearance at a major tournament , something we have never managed to do in 70 years of trying. It's unbelievable. Somebody up there doesn't seem to like Scotland but we don't help ourselves either to be fair.
