Thank you for this video. I'm brand new on Upwork and I'm searching for the email Copywriting jobs there. Most of the time I come across the jobs which require email marketing software expert like MailChimp expert or Klaviyo expert. This thing scares me a lot because I'm learning here just how to write copy not to manage the whole email list of client. Thanks again! It was helpful, keep creating such content. ❤

I also watched your live stream on marketing strategy, It's worth more than many Udemy courses. Few more doubts, if you care to explain, thanks: 1) Can we confirm that A-list copywriters earning "6-7 fig/year writing only copy" are actually marketers who named their role 'copywriter' and handle business aspects - like people management, operations or research to earn 6-7 figures? 2) What are the criteria for becoming an A-list copywriter? I want to rank among the top 300-500 financial or health copywriters worldwide as a newbie, If I really put decades into writing copy (webinars, VSLs, sales pages, landing pages, emails, ads.) and learning marketing strategies. Would I gradually reach the A or B - list writers? 3) Could you list a few living A-list copywriters to learn from? such as David L Deutsch who's writing copy and didn't turn it into the management side. _ 💗💗Can't recommend highly enough those live streams. It's a must-watch for newbies & intermediate lvl copywriters/marketers.
Hey! At what level of my journey learning copy should I start learning Marketing Strategy?

Hey Copy That, I had another question. I've been thinking about starting my own Copywriting agency and not just being a freelancer, do I need o start as a freelancer first and then go on to build my own Copywriting agency or can I start the agency by just learning the basics and then developing the agency as it goes?
@CopyThat Жыл бұрын
Sean here. I made a short about this question kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4DXaKavecxoY9U Basic gist: starting an agency requires many many other softer skills beyond just copywriting. If you don't have a good skillset already, you might struggle with all the other components that come with running a business.
@enesballa236 Жыл бұрын
@@CopyThat So basically, I should learn about other aspects of owning an agency first, learn about copywriting and then start the agency, correct?
@CopyThat Жыл бұрын
I won't be prescriptive here. Instead, I'll say this: you will find starting and growing an agency much easier if you're already really good at something and have a body of people you've done good work for. And you'll find that learning to get really good at 1 or 2 things is much easier than learning and managing 20 things. Do with that information what you will. Best of luck no matter what you decide.

Thanks guys for the video Really valuable 🙏 Could you make a video about the copywriting classes in the real world from andrew tate ? It would really interest me what the opinions from professionals are about the course.
@CopyThat Жыл бұрын
We probably won't do that for a couple of reasons, but the biggest reason is that we've heard from former students that a lot of their materials were just straight ripped off or taken from other courses. Also, why would we give money and attention to a competitor that, according to many folks who tried it, produces inferior content compared to what we produce for free?

So I guess the fantasy of just being a writer that travels the world and writes blog posts on the beach is dead. Because you’re essentially saying that you need to evolve into a marketer. Listen I get it, I’m a marketer (I work at an agency). I don’t make a big salary because it’s my first full-time job but I was hearing online that copywriting is more lucrative but from what I’m hearing not just from you guys but other people that teach copywriting is that just being a writer is not good enough. And that’s becoming more important than ever due to AI.
@CopyThat Жыл бұрын
Sean here. I'd go so far as to say that that fantasy was always and has always been the product of good marketing. We could sell a lot more if we were like, The dream is still alive! Anyone can do this and make money living a leisurely life! But that's the thing about dreams... you have to be asleep to believe them.
