from the looks on it the mum is in the right to be concerned but I also think she would have had more success if she'd gone about thing differently, in these kinds of situations trying to cut things off completely between the two of them hardly ever works how you want it to.

Actually, I was thinking the dad was being too passive. I have a grown daughter who was in a bad relationship and I confronted the guy and scared the cr*p out of him. He's bigger and younger than me but he could tell I was ready to kill him because that's how I felt. I told my daughter she had to choose between us. She chose me and moved back in with us. She thanked me numerous times later. She's still at home and has a great relationship with us and has a new boyfriend who respects her.

More realistic than you think. Parents sometimes look the other way for different reasons. Celine Dione was 13 when she met her husband who was much older as her manager. She claims they didn’t date until after 18 but he groomed her & parents didnt stop it. And she’s only 1 out of thousands

@@bcsmith173 I don't doubt that grooming happens, I was talking about the reaction of the mom in the trailer. It was a serious, yet formal, "Stay away from my daughter." Instead of, "I'M ALREADY CALLING THE COPS, Not on you, but on me, because you're about to be murdered." emotional reaction lol. The scene shown in the trailer just made it look like it was your usual disagreement you would have with somebody.
