I loved that Fear #20 Jim. Morbius has been a favorite of mine since I got the giant-size Spidey #102 when I was 10 off of the comic rack. Great pick-up!

Good evening Jim Great show as always, a great rack of comics as usual. I hate to Mr negative, but wasn't one of your holiday resolutions to clean up the room. I can't see the slabs anymore. Bu truly Jim you always make me smile, and your passion is without question. Barbie opened to late over here for me to take the Granddaughter to, Drat! Cheers Al The Goldkeyfourcolorkidownunda

Morbius ran in FEAR from #20-31 taking the place of Man-Thing who got his own book. Deathlok was in ASTONISHING TALES #25-36 taking the place of It, the Living Colossus. Both books were cancelled at that point. I lived through all of this...been collecting since 1966!

As you and I know Jim, curbing one's buying is very hard despite all good intentions when you find a comic that is either needed for the PC or you know is a good deal. Nice Sub-Mariner #50, I think covers with a lot of white really work well, very eye-catching. Conan The Barbarian #75, What If? #1 and Avenges #75 are other memorable examples. Fear and Astonishing Tales were staples of my 1970s collecting. Well done on the All-Star Western, I love the way Hex's full shadow extends under the saloon's half-doors, simultaneously clever and creepy.

Hi Jim, as a DC fan mainly, I think that those old Atom, Hawkman and Aquaman books are just great. I especially like the stories Mike Grell did as an artist in the 70´s. Besides a great Green Arrow and an even greater Green Lantern he sure knew how to draw Aquaman and occasionlally the Atom. I hope you get those runs together, some time.

I almost forget what I get on WhatNot especially if the seller doesn't put the Comic title in the auction header. It also makes it harder to keep track of expenses.

Hi, Jim. That ATOM does look nice. Yeah, the Gil Kane covers usually pop. I have that Sub-Mariner #50. That was mostly a great story run for Namor's first solo title spanning from late Silver Age until mid Bronze Age, didn't get weak IMO until maybe the last 10-12 issues or so. You could tell much of those stories were filler. I think that first run ended with #72. I never saw the mystique with Jonah Hex, which is ironic because I do like westerns. I will have to invest in researching that character. Thanks for the content, sir!
