What Could Replace My Ferrari GTC4Lusso?

After recently coming back from the annual service and being swapped back onto the regular wheels and tyres, it's great to have the Lusso out once more after the last big trip around Europe in March. Of course things didn't go the way that was intended with travel restrictions so I never managed to chase the snow with it for now, but considering it's a V12 Ferrari, to have done 10,000 miles in a year is quite some going.
However, like any car guy, there's always a question or thought as to what might come next and this space is particularly intriguing. The Ferrari setup of the FF and GTC4Lusso is quite unique, there isn't much else out there that covers the comfort and practicality with this much emotion and dynamic capability and the market in general is shifting towards SUVs. We have the likes of the Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin DBX, Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and soon even Ferrari's own take in the form of the 'Purosangue' seen in this render by Motor1: www.motor1.com/news/389375/fe...
While there won't be any change imminently, it's always interesting to follow the market and see which direction it heads and whether Ferrari would release a follow up to the 3-door shooting brake format. The thing is when he started his channel was full of road tests of "ordinary" cars but now he has so many we don't get to see him drive even the cars he currently has, for instance when was the last content about the GT40 or the McLaren Senna? he seems more interested in filling a garage that in my opinion already has enough cars. You should consider the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. The reason behind this is because the DBS Superleggera has 5.2 L V12 engine which produces 714hp and which is 34hp more than the Ferrari GTC4lusso and the car is also a 4 seater which could be the next car to your car collection.

Hey Shmee the perfect replacement is the Aston Martin Vanquish Zegato Shooting Brake. I saw one last year at Goodwood and they are just amazing cars and share a lot of qualities with the Lusso. Although sadly they don't have 4 seats they provide a decent amount of luggage space!

Audi RS6, Bentley GT W12, or M8 Gran Coupé would be the only “cool” replacements for the GTC4 I think. Nothing will ever come close to the GTC4, however, unless Ferrari plans on releasing a successor. So my final recommendation is keep the GTC4 until a successor is released.

After the SLS BS, the Lusso is my favorite of your cars Shmee. Consider keeping it as a "permanent" if nothing comes along that could directly replace it. That is a special design. Years down the road you might just miss it more than you realize if you part from it.

As a daily driver, there really isn't anything currently available that will replace the Lusso. It simply does not make sense to part with it. Because it is your daily, it is absolutely OK to keep it around for a longer period of time. It should stay until the correct replacement is plain as day. On this occasion, Tim the upgrade itch should be ignored or at least given a good scratch to put it off for some time.

One I’m not seeing mentioned but a viable replacement is a Gran Turismo. It’s a little bit of a step down but has many features of the GTC4 with the Italian heart, raw soundtrack and actual back seats. Would love to see one of those on the channel!

Any video of yours where you bring out the Lusso will be a good video for me. It is by no means the most impressive nor the most expensive in your collection, but somehow it is currently my favourite. Since the Lusso is used pretty much as a daily driver, the 918 ain't gonna be the car of choice.. Since most of em r gonna be at the end of their warranty period by now, it's gonna be a proposition which is quite risky, especially lookin at it from the daily usability point of view.

Shmee what about a taycan? They have been testing an estate version at the Nurburgring which seems to fit your practical needs. I know its not a great screaming v12 but the torquey electric motors would be such a juxtaposition to the lusso that i think it would be very cool. I know you have said in other videos that you love how Porsche’s such as the 911 drive and all the reviews i have seen of the taycan say it genuinely drives like a proper Porsche. It wont have the ferarri passion but there is a new world of cars being electric and if you can spur your passion for the volts of raw torque available it could open the door to a all performance focussed electric hypercar potentially one day. Just an idea with it being practical, exiting, drivable and the future as well.

How about the Audi rs6 wheelsandmore tune, porsche taycan/sport turismo, AMG gt 63s/73, Alpina B5/touring, M5 gpower tune? Some great cars, all german, with lots of power and some great tuning availabilty

This format, I absolutely love my self is only truly represented by the 140i and the GTC4Lusso. So there's really nothing to go up to. C63 wagon, perhaps Rentec or Brabus treated, or the Alpina B5 wagon are definetly interesting propositions. Both would make a great additions and are higly customizable.

Hello, Shmee. My name is Alex and I have an idea. In the Last video you said, that you are going to sell the Lusso. I think, that it will be quite reasonable to get a Flying Spur, because it's a nice saloon, that is practical, luxurious and fast.

If you want to replace the GTC4Lusso then it is better to go with the Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo, I’ve been in one and almost fully spec and it is preaty comfortable and agresive when putting it on Sport Plus. Love your videos, you are awesome, keep it up!😄😋
