This is incredible, I really resonate with it. I am a religious person, I have my faith and it's the core of who I am, and my music is just a reflection of my internal state, and as Jesus Molina says, All the Glory to God forever. Exactly right. That is what music is for. I might start praying before I perform. Thanks for sharing Elliot!

That was a very inspiring as well as forgiving speech … Before the Jazz performance begins … Those are very wise words … as we play, we try to be honest , take chances , go for an idea … I tend to play it safe, which is boring. We try to not play bullshit … Just be real … as we go out in on limb, sometimes we fall … When the big wave surfers, ( 50 ft high waves), that is so exciting to see … it’s amazing, but when those guys make a tiny error … they wipe out … they and get “rag dolled” by the ocean … ouch!!! Jazz players … when we make an error, or get lost in the form, … ouch! We feel bad … No guts, no glory!!! Best wishes to you Elliot … you are really good … You are gonna be a great player …

Hi Elliot, I'm just going to leave a comment because this really spoke to me but you're a huge inspiration for me, as a musician who is a Christian too. I almost teared up hearing this cuz I had a performance at church playing piano accompaniment so this was pretty relevant 😂 Piano isn't my strongest instrument as I'm self taught and know basic technique, but and I study violin and mostly play guitar but I decided to go with it at church. Anyways, I prayed before it because I have extreme performance anxiety and even way before the event I prayed. And I don't know, of course I was nervous during the performance and after, but afterwards, a lot of people congratulated me. I didn't even believe I could do that and doubted my abilities a lot. And now I'm going to start working in the music ministry at my local church. Basically, it's very important to put God first in literally anything in our lives! Anyways, please continue to do what you do, and blessing God with your talent! You're amazing!!

Wow!! What an awesome testimony, I’m so glad that God was able to work through you at church! It’s so important to put God first because as Philippians 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ” and Jesus also says in John 15:5 “without me you can do nothing”
