So glad Airi was felling okay. As a parent I've learned fever severity is based on how the child feels while having it. An active fun loving kid with a fever is always better than a tired, wont eat or drink feverish kid.

Been binge watching your videos from your 7month pregnancy - I took a break from social media for a while. Airi has gotten so big and speaks so well. She’s so cute 🥰 The fact that she knew that you could open up that katana was surprising. She’s a smart cookie. My daughter works in childcare and yeah, they are basically like petrie dishes of sickness.

When my son was a toddler I took him to jidoukan. It was a good place to make friends for the kids and you can meet other moms there. It’s basically the same people there every single time. They have normal meets and then they also have a special events too. At least at the one I took my son to it was kind of like a class part of the time. The moms would all go sit on the floor off to the side together and the kids would go play, and then the teachers would do songs with the kids, stuff like that. Anyway there has to be a jidoukan in your town even in inaka.

Also I swear hoikuen does that crap like they will say they have netsu but they’re fine.. so I go pick up took him home and then when I checked him it was like 37 which isn’t a freakin fever at all. And then nothing after that.. temp would be like 36.8 and normal. Like how the heck do they even know the baby to check the had a fever if they were totally fine? Idk lol it’s pretty sketch

We do have a jidoukan! But we also have a few kosodate shien centers where you can bring babies and toddlers to hang out (they do mommy and me exercises & book readings & season/holiday based activities!) The kosodate shien center is much closer to us so we used it often before going to the auxiliary daycare

@@samtron5000 So at our daycare place they check the kids' temperatures before lunch every single day, that just happens to be the routine for them. Maybe post-pandemic related measures, I really don't know. I feel you though! Literally no fever or anything at all after picking Airi up 😅

@@reinascully yeah prolly right idk I had a lot of conspiracy theories back then about it lol but that was sooo long ago. It just seemed like at my son’s daycare they would call me saying he had a fever, I’d come and pick him up, get him home, he’s totally fine.. even worse they had a rule that if they got sent home with a fever you couldn’t come back for 24 hours (this was 2011-12).. I tried to work at an eikaiwa but they don’t like hiring moms for those reasons obviously.. finally I ended up getting a job I could take him to which had its own crappy challenges (train at rush hour with transfer at nishinippori m-f with tired toddler in stroller 😩) you guys are doing it the right way

Ripley’s museum has the African fertility statues that somehow work. You touch the statue of the gender and sign the book. You come back if you get pregnant and re-sign. It actually works. I do not know where they are at the moment but they are on the American continent somewhere.

How can all day care facilities be completely full, if Japan‘s birth rate is declining so badly?😥
@reinascully
@reinascully 8 ай бұрын
because no one pays the teachers enough 😭 and the city / government run daycare facilities are very strict about the teacher to toddler ratio so even if there are 7 facilities, they max out at approximately 16 toddlers per classroom and although our birthrate IS indeed declining rapidly, there just aren't enough teachers to accommodate the babies (again, completely different in the city!)

There are several ways you can handle this: You can hire a baby sitter while you and your husband are at work. You can be a stay at home mother for 5 years. Your husband can be a stay at home father for 5 years (Like John Lennon did for his son, Sean.) One of you can go to work for a place that has Day Care.
