How about a benchmark test. I’m tired of all these shills and clowns that are paid by Apple just to read off a script and not truly be honest in their reviews.

I’d like to see a whole lot of barrel roll testing with different brushes in procreate.

the 13 inch air and new pen is pretty much solid for digital illustrators right?
@graysonsgraphics8 ай бұрын
Yes 100% it’s the best option for digital illustrators

Im really curious on how the new pen rotation and haptic feedback could enhance my adobe illustrator workflow, like if you could rotate objects or nods with the barrel roll and which commands can be configured to the squeeze 🤔 I’m curious overall haha

A comparison between the new M4 and the previous M2 (Screen, colour accuracy, light bleeding, pen performance, speed…) would be appreciated.

The one thing OLED has consistently failed to be is color accurate. Recently, a few OLED reference monitors have been released. They cost 4x the price of the most color-accurate monitor on the market from EZIO. No iPhone OLED has been remotely comparable to any LCD when it comes to color rendering or accuracy. It is wrong to assume that these new OLED iPads will be color-accurate until you see them.

Might be a stupid question, but does the new ipad 2024 13 inch still work with your existing drawing stands etc. or do you need buy a new range of stand etc. for using the ipad to draw on i.e. Without the Magic Keyboard? I would have thought apple would incorporate some sort of hinge on the new Magic Keyboard that would allow you to move the screen forward and draw at say 15 degree angle or similar while still attached to the Magic Keyboard, a bit disappointing they didn’t. 😩

Good question, it’s hard to say and it may depend on the way your stand or case works. The size is about the same from 12.9 inches to now being marketed as 13” but with this new iPad being thinner that may affect the fit

I really don’t know if I should go with the nano texture add on. I hope it’s indescribable. Do you think it can wear down over time? If so, would be pointless and I should just stick with getting paper like protectors and keep replacing them overtime. This is a difficult decision. Can’t wait to see that review of yours ! I may just order it and hope Apple lets me return it should I not like the add on for $100
@williammclean65948 ай бұрын
I wouldn't get it because it already makes the colors look dull and you're most likely going to use a screen protector if you're an artist which will degrade the quality even further
@OhDontMindMee8 ай бұрын
@@williammclean6594 I’m used to the dull screen. The matte protectors I use do that. I even took that off one of my iPads and I realized I’m used to the duller look and putting a matte protector back on it. To sum up, that won’t be a problem for me
@williammclean65948 ай бұрын
@@OhDontMindMee I would wait for the reviews. A lot of people who have bought Nano textured have been pretty disappointed with it. And you might be used to it. But just know the effect will be even more intense. So whatever dullness level you're seeing it probably probably twice that much if you put a screen protector over top of it
@OhDontMindMee8 ай бұрын
@@williammclean6594 thanks Willam I appreciate the input. I will keep that in mind. Yeah I’m kind of hesitant on getting it. After all it also is kind of like the first gen of having the nano texture. Maybe in the future it will improve. It’s such a permanent feature and if I don’t like it then I’m screwed

Instead of everyone participating in the deception called "iPad Pro," it would be better for all to acknowledge the truth: Apple has been selling the iPad Pro without suitable software for years! It's a fantastic phenomenon how users are mesmerized by the design and performance of something that cannot be utilized in professional work and tasks! Yes, in professional work, why else would someone pay $3,000 (including Magic Keyboard, Mouse, Apple Pencil, Apple Care) only to use it to read newspapers on the couch or play a couple of games and then revert to using a MacBook Air (which costs $1,200-$1,300) to continue their work?! Even video or photo editing does not function properly (lacking plugins, missing features, no complete export capability from Capture One to Photoshop, etc.). I mean, who exactly are you fooling for five whole years?! Selling a children’s toy with iPhone software at the price of a MacBook Pro and recording who buys it to sort who is foolish and who is wise?! Is this what the infamous "iPad Pro" project is about?! THERE IS NO SOFTWARE FOR THE iPAD PRO, PERIOD! No one has ever managed to utilize even the performance of the "M1" chip, and now they're introducing an "M4", SOFTWARE, APPLE, software, not hardware!
