The band has three main members:Maria, Christopher and Kai, and they're from Norway, Denmark and Germany, respectively. They only use traditional and hand made instruments as well as clothing, and the vocal technique Kai is using is called throat singing, they're just amazing

If no one has posted it yet, this is the spoken part: What am I supposed to do If I want to talk about peace and understanding But you only understand the language of the sword? What if I want to make you understand that the path you chose leads to downfall But you only understand the language of the sword What if I want to tell you to leave me and my beloved ones in peace But you only understand the language of the sword I let the blade do the talking So my tongue shall become iron and my words the mighty roar of war Revealing my divine anger's arrow shall strike All action for the good of all, I see my reflection in your eyes But my new age has just begun, the sword is soft In the fire of the furnace, it hungers to be hit And wants to have a hundred sisters In the coldest state of their existence They may dance the maddest in the morass of the red rain Beloved brother enemy, I sing my sword song for you The lullaby of obliteration So I can wake up with a smile And bliss in my heart and bliss in my heart and bliss in my heart Coexistence, conflict, combat Devastation, regeneration, transformation That is the best I can do for you I see a grey gloom on the horizon That promises a powerful sun to rise, melt away all moons It will make the old fires of purification, purification Look like dying embers, look like dying embers

Heilung are singing an Proto-Germanic, an ancient lost language partially reconstructed from rhunes unearthed at archeological sites from the late neolithic / early bronze age.

a great song to follow this with is In Maidjan from the same concert it really lets the Maria (the female singer) show off the power of her voice or for a more laid back track Anoana

Heilung means healing in German. They are from various Northern European countries. The song was derived from ancient pre-Viking rune stones and carvings and traditional chants. They were banned from some countries because the bones Maria uses are from a human arm and some instruments are painted with human blood. Nothing evil. Just the way it was back then and they are very authentic. Please watch the video Anoana. Very pro-child, pro-women. Trust me. You like. Luv your reaction cutie.😊❤ ps, love that you love Aurora too.

I'm Frisian, we are the indigenous peoples which still reside in Fryslan in what is now the Netherlands, we are the last of the original old Germanic peoples who still go by the original name. Our territory spanned from the coast of the Netherlands through Germany all the way to Denmark pre-Viking age. Many Frisians still reside in those countries. Much from Heilung is from Old Germanic which is our culture as well what continued in Nordic Cultures and some with the Celts later there on. Odin of course to us was known as Wodan or Old Frisian 'Weda' which the day Wednesday comes from (Weda's Day) before the Viking cultures emerged later. Frisians and the Nord's are practically Brothers or more so we are the living ancestors. it's great to see our cultures being preserved and shown to the world.

Thank U for ur reaction. Yes, very much the same as African tribal sounds. First Nations also feel this. Hope to see more Heilung reactions from u. I see other comments have suggested In Maidjan & Anoana. Lifa is a performance telling the story of a peaceful village, invaded & corrupted. In Maidjan is also used on the soundtrack of HellBlade2 Senua's Saga. Greetings from Glastonbury UK. Happy listening.

The languages used are diverse: from German and English to Gothic and Latin to Proto-Nordic. The instruments are usually objects that might have already been available to people in the Iron Age, such as drums, rattles, bones and spears.

Plus I wanted to share a bit of Canadian culture because they wrote a Canadian/Netherlands Folklore song that I absolutely love and listen to it at least once a week. You will love this song gets most people addicted to the band they write love stories the lead singer is Wiccan as well, writes about all sorts of things but mostly Wiccan stories. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5y9lKdpf956Z9E

I think your missing the point. In scandinavia we have a shared connection. If we show weapons, we dont threten, it means we are going to war. We sharpen our axes, and we only sharpen them, when we are going to war. This is a war song. This means we are going to war. Enjoy the music. Scandinavia will soon attach russia.

Satan doesn't exist except as a "boogeyman" name given to things your religion do not like. Open your mind, rather than live in an echo chamber.
@Necromanticfantasy7 ай бұрын
It’s not Satanic. The song is about conflict/war and if you listen to the English part of the song you see that there is a conversation between two leaders that is going nowhere and eventually lead to a war between tribes. Saying this is satanic would be like saying any other tribal music is Satanic.
