I was the weird kid, most of my antics were usually social obliviousness as a result of autism (I was diagnosed at 17), having meltdowns, getting into fights, eating paper, and freaking out if the routine wasn't followed. I would go on and on about whatever special interests I had at the time, here is a list of the ones I remember: Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Spongebob, Dora the Explorer, Animal Crossing, Sonic, Super Mario games, Zelda games, Smosh, Smg4, Steven Universe, magical girl anime, Vocaloid, PlayStation games, Splatoon, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy XV, Free!, Persona 5, Final Fantasy VII, and Transformers. Edit: I ate paper because I was hungry and lunch was still hours away (I did eat breakfast at home). It did taste good depending on the paper, but it was mainly tasteless.

So back at my elementary school there was this kid named Dorian. This kid once decided to jump the fence at recess and got chased around the outside of the school by three teachers. And if that wasn’t weird enough, he just dropped his trousers and started peeing on the playground… in front of everyone…
@jenniferkorf47676 ай бұрын
I just remembered another two stories. This kid Joshua had a reputation in my elementary school, and that reputation was his horrific ability to make the room feel like death incarnate due to the devilish concoction released from his anus. So one day we are all in the computer lab and this kid just lets one rip, and the room felt like our trench had just been shelled with mustard gas. The teacher runs out, and then back in and starts spraying Fbreeze everywhere while holding her nose. Different kid (now in Middle School) so this kid, Cody, was special education and everybody loved him. So one time I was in the gym bathroom and Cody was there, I did my business and went to wash my hands when he told me “watch it kid, I’ll beat you up” mind you this kid was small and was not at all intimidating. I laugh awkwardly and exit, then I hear a crash and find out Cody straight up kicked a stall door off its hinges, while somebody was using the toilet in there.

That first story- I knew a girl like that. She was so obsessed with getting pregnant that after she found out she actually was pregnant- and was so excited she just verbal vomited- she admitted to poking holes in her bf’s condom to ensure it happened. Poor guy was like 15? Maybe 16? Thankfully he ended up being a great dad, all things considered, but very wisely dumped his gf. And shocker, it wasn’t what she thought it would be and struggled a lot initially. Last I saw of her she was around 20 with three or four kids and married to a different guy.

I was the weird kid at school, but I wasn't that weird myself, I was just looking to socialise and make friends. I was quite overweight and shy and came from a home that was characterised by physical and psychological abuse. I had zero social skills and simply didn't know how to approach other people because I was afraid of being ridiculed and abused again. I was also a gamer (video games were my comfort zone) and loved manga/anime which seemed strange to many. I'm not saying I didn't do weird things, but sometimes I wonder how often it happens that a child seems weird but isn't really.

I have autism. I wasn't the weird kid because of things I'd do or say because of my autism. But rather because of the *fact* that I was autistic. Girls 99.9% of the time wouldn't/don't talk to me, and when they do they do as they'd talk to a 5 year old. It doesn't matter that my autism is *very* mild. In their eyes I'm mentally incapable of doing anything by myself or straight up just having emotions. It's the same with the guys but I've noticed they treat me a *lot* better because they don't think I'm in love with them. I'm also 100% sure they treat me like that just because of the fact that I'm autistic because the people who don't know of my autism actually treat me like a human. I'm itching to become an adult because then there wouldn't be the school or my mother to ruin any chances of me being treated equally. My mom even had a sticker in the rear glass of the car that said "my hero has autism" to make sure that I had no possibility of having friends or not being treated like a baby.

Sweetheart, I sure hope things get better for you the older you get, but I do need to warn you about one part of grown-up life, so you can set your hopes to a correct level. Many of your peers are never going to grow up. I was lucky to learn that as a kid when my mom went to a high school reunion when I was 14. She came back disenchanted, telling me this same thing. I am now way older than she was then, and let me tell you, your best chance at being treated for who you are rather than what you are, is to move to a city or another area where you will meet people who share your interests, with whom you share common goals, and who are already emotionally mature enough to get to know you. IDK if college was on your radar - even if it isn't, moving to a college town for work, or another kind of higher education will expose you to different peer groups. But don't count on people growing up. 40 years from now, your high school peers will treat you exactly as they do now. Don't worry about pleasing people who don't matter anyhow. They don't hold the key to your future, so forget them. Good luck finding your crowd. They exist, somewhere.

There was a super weird kid in my middle school. He had mild dwarfism and I think autism so he was shorter than average and socially oblivious. He would always be yelling things in a high pitched voice that wasn’t fake, it was his real voice, and always said out of pocket stuff, but really was a huge creep to girls as well. I’ll never forget the time he told me that he had a camera in my shower at lunch, and when he proclaimed loudly that he would destroy everyone in the school. At the end of 8th grade I ended up moving to a different state and thought that was that, but someone ended up giving my number to him for some reason and he called me. I was an asshole kid so I ended up telling him I never liked him and to lose my phone number, but before I hung up his mother got on the phone and tried to berate me for being mean to her son. I yelled at her that I didn’t give anyone permission for him to have my phone number and that he is a creep. I hung up on her and blocked the number, but looking back now I wish I would have just hung up on him at the beginning, or pretended to be someone else and say wrong number or something. He wasn’t all that bad, just likely needed guidance or something. Bonus: He had a younger sister with the same diagnoses and she loved to pretend to be a werewolf, and would bark at people and be just as strange. I hope they both got into a nice school that helped them with their issues.

I was the weird kid back in high school. Weirdest thing I did was go underground (literally) during lunch and chill there until the bell rang. The school I was at had a storm drain system connected to the main city storm drain system, I'd get a few friends (that were also weird kids but not too weird/nerdy kids) and we'd lift up a manhole on a side of the school no one really went, there was iron bars bent into the side of the pipe as a ladder and it was a 6ft drop down, so we crawled down there and explored a little, we found the literal perfect spot just to chill after a few minutes of walking around down there which was a massive concrete rectangular box (I wanna say like 12ft tall) basically where all the storm water flowed into and it went into another massive pipe down to who knows where (we never went down there that far, we just wanted a place to chill unlike anywhere else), my other friends would take their other friends down there sometimes and we'd just hang out, we were almost caught one time from a "good kid" that was gonna say something about it but my friend basically bribed him into not saying anything, the school never found out after doing it for pretty much the entire school year from the start to the finish. We even had our own set of rules down there which was - When it rains, no drains - Need to have backup flashlights/batteries - Need to have (my name) with us as he has a multi-gas monitor - Don't do anything stupid that could hurt yourself or others And before you say "well manholes are really heavy" and the answer to that was it was a cheap manhole cover that wasn't too heavy, gotta love "made in china".

(yes, sand, not a typo) and then this one time the English teacher asked if we wanted mindfulness time (self explanatory, white noise for a little bit, everyone stayed quiet) or mindlessness, (we sit in total silence with our heads down for a few minutes) this other kid says he likes mindlessness after everyone votes on mindfulness, to which I respond "Of course you do, it's what you are" which is met with a lot of laughter and overall raised everyone's mood, there was other things like that where I would do a little jab at him and be met with varying levels of laughter, and then there's my side of weirdness where someone gave me a ramen flavor packet as they ate the noodle brick mid class, and I proceeded without hesitation to rip open the packet and snort the damn thing (def was a bad idea but was funny as shit), and I also almost died from sticking a paper clip in an electrical outlet and it exploded, good times my middle school years were.

This story takes place 6 years ago from this post. I am currently breaking up with my now long ex gf. I head home that night and start talking to friends trying to find something to fill the time and space she once occupied. I started talking to a girl named Rachel. She and I had spoke before and we hit things off and started dating. A few months go by and she moves in and we enjoy our company by going on walks and other activities like that. One day in particular was now what I see was the beginning of the end of us. This day we had just about finished a walk, my road is a dirt road. About 17 meters from my gate she stops and starts to panic saying that she is about to crap. I ask if she can hold it as her hand moves behind her as if she's going to stop it somehow. This road if fairly public and fairly used throughout the day. I reassure her that she can make it and she scoots her feet two shuffles and then rotates 90 degrees, rips down her leggings, squats like a jungle tribesmen and proceeds to produce an object the diameter of a coke can and length of about 13-14 inches. It just fell out. It happened so fast and I could believe what just happened. She stood up and after I snapped back into reality I made her get a shovel, scoop it up and bury it across the road from my neighbor.

Since we’re talking about weird kids, I’ve definitely got a few story for you. First: This is probably the one I most remember, but one time one of the weird kids in my school decided that he wanted to throw A ROCK at MY HEAD. It landed, and luckily didn’t do too much damage, but I’m still mad at him for that and confused why he did it. Second Story: This is a story about the other weird kid IN MY GRADE ALONE. He had some of those plastic vampire teeth, and when they got filled up with SALIVA he decided to set them down on the table, splattering everywhere. Both me and my friend that had to sit with him at that table instantly grabbed our stuff and got up. This kid also gets frequent tantrums, and it’s always over the little stuff. Even when I said he couldn’t play with MY PHONE he got mad. It was getting low on battery, and I just didn’t want him touching it because his hands are disgusting. This same kid also starting ripping about his baby teeth, even though they weren’t ready, and when my friend told him that the adult tooth may not come in because he ripped the bay tooth out prematurely, he went pale. Also, this kid gets way better opportunities in school (rewards for being good, homework policy (5 days late is 50% on homework)never counting towards him, and he could turn in a permission slip for a field trip when it was due THE WEEK BEFORE). It’s super unfair towards all of the actually good kids in my class, they probably deserve it way more than he does. Last thing: He NEVER GETS IN TROUBLE. For ANYTHING. Threatened a kid? Warning. PUNCHED a kid? Another warning. SAYS THE N WORD???? WARNING!?!?? THIS KID CAN NEVER GET IN TROUBLE!!!! At this point, from all the stuff he’s done, he probably deserves a week or two of suspension, if not just being expelled. That’s all the stories I have right now, thanks for reading!

It was 1984 and he was the stereotypical quiet, loner type. Never talked to anyone, disappeared during lunch. He had been held back a year, so as a 9th grader, he towered over most of us. Annnnnd he set off a pipe bomb in his locker during period change. Luckily he sucked at making it since all it did was blow open the door of his locker and smoke. Most of us thought we were having a fire drill until the kids whose lockers were next to his told us what happened. He was arrested immediately. It's kinda weird to think back that this happened 15 years before Columbine. If he'd been successful, he could've killed a lot of kids. We just all happened to be lucky that he wasn't.

There was a kid we knew in elementary who had an imaginary friend and was aware that his friend was imaginary. He would look next to him as if his friend was standing next to him and talk to him. As the years went by, he stopped talking to his imaginary friend but clearly still hallucinating; he would sometimes be staring off as if he was watching someone next to you, behind you, etc. Some time after high school, a few friends and I reconnected with him for several months. He would often look tired and sometimes have the thousand yard stare. One day, we found out from his mom one day that he had committed himself to a psych ward. We don’t know what happened to him and a decade later, we’re afraid to ask.

Two stick out clearly in my head. 1: He was actually in my grade, and we were actually close in elementary school, but he started withdrawing in middle school. He wore baggy clothes, constantly wrote in journals that no one was allowed to read, and hardly spoke to anyone outside of the stoner crowd. He ended up arrested for trying to blow up our HS and his mom's house 2 months after graduation. I think it came out after his second attempt that he'd been abused since 5th grade, and no one ever cared to report it... 2: He SWORE he was a vampire. He never went outside without massive amounts of sunscreen and an umbrella. He constantly wore cloaks and trench coats, spiked collar, and combat boots. He had the fake fangs and hung out with the "furries." (They weren't actually furries. They just claimed to be.) We ran into him at the park one day, and he was trying to stab his sister WITH a RAILROAD SPIKE. We called the cops, but nothing was ever done. He ended up being arrested less than 2 months after graduation for CP, selling of minors for escapades, knowingly transmitting an STD (HIV), and child endangerment. He was doing it to his sister and 4 of her friends. His grandmother was arrested as an accomplice.

I went to a small high school, previously a dropout prevention but secretly turned into a publicly funded private school for family and friends of the founders and faculty. There were some weirdos. I was/am a weirdo. There were kids with psychological issues, werewolves, vampires, punks, goths, business suit wearers, Marilyn Monroe lifestylers, hippies' kids who refused to learn to drive, some were previously babysat at freeschool and may have had great educations thanks to their parents, or barely anything despite intelligence. Many of the most eccentric kids were likely told or encouraged to be whatever they wanted, so now we have people who have a harder time coping with reality. Most of the kids I knew who had such eccentricities-- including myself--failed to thrive, even twenty or so years on. And then there are some who have become actors, or just recycled and teach at that high school now. It was a special place that many love, but I'm not sure if being around these types and having the few class options it offered helped me.

He also was very raciest to others in class (due to my school being mostly immigrants, since my government let a bunch in) I am Mt and Ukrainian (ik a odd mix) I still feel like the eraser thing was about me, also note: L was moved to a different class. he also was very annoying and I tried my best to ovoid him. To this day I think the only thing he knows how to say is some variation of “shut the fuck up”

He was very smart (often had better test scores than I did), very outgoing, and well spoken, so he wasn't autistic or anything . . . just weird. The teacher just ignored him and focused on teaching the rest of us. Not sure if he moved away after that year or what, but I don't remember him being in junior high the following year.

here’s my weird kid story. I tried being nice and friendly to our high school weird kid and he started to internet stalk me. He found my instagram, tiktok, facebook, even my linkedin account. After following me on everything, he started buying me jewelry and giving it to me at school. I was in a relationship all throughout high school and told the kid that we were only ever going to be friends. He started following my then-boyfriend around on campus and giving him nasty looks. I had to finally cut ties with the strange kid which led him to send me many threatening messages on social media and make new accounts whenever I blocked his old accounts. I ended up moving schools for unrelated reasons and never heard from him again.

Had one guy eating glue and paper in class. He was making pools of ink with little plastic boxes and one time even pissed himself after the teacher denied him the toilet's access. Was a very friendly dude tho, always loved talking to him, after middleschool I never saw him again sadly.

I used to have a weird kid in my friend group, at first he just seemed wacky and fun but it slowly got worse till he got pulled out of school to be home schooled. Two stores that come to mind about him are: told, not asked, another friend they would be getting married after graduation and that he expected three children from her. They had been dating less than 48hrs and broke up shortly after his demands. Tried to pick a fight with the sort of scary big guy of the group, unpromted, only to be slammed on a table by his throat then proceeded to tell anyone who would listen that he "let him win"

Not a word kid story but a funny kid story that will stand out as one of the best comedic timings I've ever witnessed. It's the mid-90's in middle school 8th grade and this dance group comprised of students were putting on the finale at a pep rally. They were wearing those nylon "wind-suits" that were crazy colors and giving it Hell to some techno-pop that kept sounding more and more like the Mortal Kombat theme music. So, anyhow there's a pause in the dancing and they line up for the big end as the music hits the breakdown and in the second and a half of silence this kid yells REALLY loud and just like the dude in the MK theme "MORTAL COMBAT!" and the entire gymnasium including the dancers and staff absolutely lose their sh*t laughing! It was pretty epic.

when i was in middle school i was that kid, i had undiagnosed autism, and i was obsessed with 9/11, and liked to draw the twin towers multiple times in my notebook, i was also obsessed with gory vids, i was 12, so that didn't do well for my mental health lol, i don't really remember anything in particular i did, but i did some weird shit, im more normal now i guess lol

I was definitely the weird kid from Elementary all the way through 6th grade (Middle School) Definitely had and still probably do have some kind of undiagnosed mental thing. I'd throw frequent tantrums and at every little thing I'd start crying. Had a book that I was reading taken away during class and just started sobbing. Was a REALLY big asshole in general, too, and antagonized practically everybody I met. In 6th I wore fox ears and sometimes a tail and was the weird furry kid. I didn't particularly do anything else bad that year other than sit underneath my desk the entirety of one class the entire year. But I was really mentally ill and played fruit ninja on my arm because one of my friends did it too and flashed it a lot. Glad to say I'm not that bad anymore, but definitely still struggling with undiagnosed mental stuff.
@_void_with_eyes_6 ай бұрын
On a lighter note, though, I started a trend in 6th with the ears and tail. Shortly after I eventually stopped wearing them, a bunch of other kids started wearing some (much better looking, in my opinion) ears as well. Went on for another year before it faded away Those kids were a lot less weird than I was, fortunately. I at least never heard any stories about them. Also people soon forgot that I was the one who wore the ears and tail immediately the next year, so I didn't have to deal with a lot of bullying about it.

Hello Void, I hope you are doing well. Your story resonates with me because there are some similar things I did growing up in school. In my 42 years I’ve served in the US Marine Corps, been homeless for a bit, lived in another country (Korea, since 2011), become a teacher, finished a Master’s degree in Psychology, I made a KZbin channel for fun, and aside from getting disabled in the service I live a pretty good life on paper. Being the weirdo helps me recognize the weird students and help them out if need be, or not draw attention to their behavior.

At my school, I'm usually considered one of the weird kids lol, but there was this one kid that just about everyone agreed was terrible in every way. He would often come up to my friend group before school, he would constantly talk to us about very nsfw topics which made us all uncomfortable. I don't entirely know why but he had some insane vendetta against me, he would go around and tell other kids that I was a guy pretending to be a girl, likely in an effort to get them to hate me. One day, he slapped me on my backside, which caused a teacher to get onto him, however he went crazy over this and called the teacher a racial slur before being taken to the school's office. A lot of people had problems with him, he got expelled one day for throwing a cinder block at a teacher.

Friend of mine was the weird kid. Back in high school, he'd almost always have a lighter on him and he'd do random crap with it. In biology class he tried to light a bug we were dissecting on fire, but it wouldn't light for whatever reason; he decides to grab the metal spike holding it in the tray right after trying to burn it and ends up branding his fingers due to the super hot metal. Another time, he'd click the lighter without lighting it to let the gas into his mouth, then click the lighter to 'breathe fire' (well, it was a tiny puff of fire), and one time he ended up lighting his tongue on fire; it quickly went out, but was funny to see. He's also the guy who made me never want to try 'truth or dare' due to the stories of him and his friends making people who picked 'dare' to have to lick the floor or other disgusting stuff. Not sure what happened to him, he transferred/left school before senior year.

There was this kid who I’m not saying his name and there are multiple times he’s done weird things I wont forget and this was in elementary school. I’ve met him in 4th grade and found out he was the weird kid once he was in my class in 5th grade. The first thing I’m talking about is the way he acts and saying it was like torture was an understatement and because of it I started trying to skip school, but it didn’t work. First he has anger issues and one time he tried to punch me in the neck or choke me but he was behind me so I didn’t see and wasn’t sure all because I won the very first class game. Secondly, he had this super bad hobby of trying to annoy people as much as possible which I hated. Lastly, he had soon tried to commit su!c!de in class by suffocating himself and saying heaven is the only safe place, he also tried doing silent death threats behind peoples backs. Another thing is that a friend group I am super close with starting telling me that he had no socks on and his feet was dirty and honestly it was so funny but I didn’t laugh because that is rude. The next one is his hygene, which is horrible as he has super bad and gross habits, he peed his pants one time and pees on the bathroom floor and he doesn’t shower and I can tell by how bad he smells he also is very weak. Now I have 2 incidents I will never forget. One is where he was lunch cart helper and this was the very day I never got lunch from home again where he was putting all the lunchboxes on the table which no one cared so he did this to me as he knew that I’m a clean person so he decided to pick his nose and wipe his own boogers ON MY OWN LUNCH BOX! Which he didn’t turn over so I would see it and yes he took it way too far. To the point I started crying I couldn’t see how many people were there because my eyes were covered but a close friend of mine who was at the other side of the lunchroom and he said that over half the lunchroom was there not to brag but I was one of the popular kids which is why a lot of people came over and when I calmed down a bit I told them what happened which I’m sure made the whole grade turn on him for a bit and when I stopped caring they stopped because I like being friends with people and I try my hardest to be kind to people. Another incident is when we were getting out of specialist which was gym class for the day and still he hasn’t been suspended and he was behind me in line for our teacher to take us back to class and while waiting I felt what I thought was air down my neck and new hoodie which I loved and then I felt my neck was wet and I then heard a spitting noise which then I turned furiously to see HIM SMIRKING which after school which was a long time I stayed in the shower for hours it was so bad and I was so mad I jet my elbow back (gently) because I didn’t want to get suspended. A day later I told all my friends and he stopped since every time he would do something so out of the blue to me people would know and causing people to hate him more.

I'm surprised you don't have cooking class. We have them here in Scotland. The class is called H.E (Home Economics.) To be fair it was mostly girls, the only guys were me and this skinny effeminate guy who, whether he realised it or not, was definitely gay. I always had an IDGAF attitude and was known for getting into fights, so no one said anything. It would be funny at the end of the days when I had H.E. as other people would be complaining about Geography or some other class type I hated and that occupied the same slot as H.E, and while they were complaining as we walked home, I would be eating cake or pizza or drinking a carton of soup I had just made.

I’m the weird kid in this story. Back in 4th grade, our teacher (I think through a raffle method with these lil ticket’s she’d give us if we were good) would give us the option either to have a comfy chair for a day, choose some music for all of us to listen to before recess, and I forgot the third option. I was the weird kid with VERY different interests than the other students, and I just did my best to fit in. So one day, when I was chosen from the raffle, I decided I wanted to show everyone some music I listen to! The music was some OST from “Kirby Triple Deluxe” or something like that, and it was the music that would play at the final bosses’s second/third phase. I remember just vibing to the music while everyone was just confused the entire time, and afterwards, everyone was asking me things like “were there any lyrics?”, “What kind of genre was that?”, and “girl what the actual hell was that?” Do I have regrets? Today, absolutely. I still cringe at that. But I know 4th grade me was having the time of her life :)

I attended a school with a girl, who nobody really liked. She was quiet, reserved, and had very little interaction with other people, besides a couple of girls. that became less of an occurrence after one moved. I hardly ever saw her express emotions, either. (TW: BLOOD) One day, in science class, we had to dissect a cow heart. There were about eight long tables in the room, and she was in the back near a group of boys. I'm not sure what happened to set her off, but after sitting there doing nothing for a while, I saw the scariest smile I have ever seen on anybody. Then, she began laughing as she stabbed a small bit of the heart she had dissected, over and over again. I have never heard somebody laugh like that. It was psychotic. The boys at the table were rightfully freaked out. Eventually the teacher came over to see what the fuss was about, and the girl just put her head in her arms. I should probably mention, that I know this girl was bullied. And as for her home life, I heard from somebody else that it certainly wasn't pleasant. And I, along with everybody else, knew she self harmed. One of the things I noticed about her, was she really liked animals. From rescuing a lizard from a group of kids, to releasing a bird out of a window, and saving a ladybug. She wasn't heartless. I truly don't know what her case was, but wherever she is now, I really hope she got help.

The rule in class has always been if you want to eat in class you have to bring enough for everyone. So he did. He brought enough cokes in for everyone and doughnuts. The teacher had nothing to say. Fun day lol

I *was* the weird kid for most of my life. I won't go into a full list of my antics, most of which were autism symptoms and things I did to protect myself from bullying, but there was a time in middle school... keep in mind we moved around a lot, so I was also the new kid a lot. Anyway, one time in middle school, I forget what grade, I wanted attention so I kept pretending to have an imaginary friend named Fred. (I think I had recently seen "Drop Dead Fred." Also, I used to get a lot of attention for having actual imaginary friends.) Not sure why I wanted attention or why I thought this was how to get it, but it worked. I sure did get attention. It was eventually a bit too much attention, and I stopped. I don't remember how that ended up, since I withdrew again and I have ADHD as well so my memory is like trying to store water in a sieve. I actually don't remember about 90 percent of my childhood because of that combination of things.

Our weird kid kept peeing and pooping his pants even well into middle school. He knew he had to go, you could see his legs shaking but he just wouldn’t ask to go and he’d end up doing his thing right there in class. I still remember we were in 7th grade lit. And the teacher stopped mid lecture because she could smell it and he tried denying it and when he stood up a turd dropped out of his shorts and made that splat sound when it hit the floor. We all lost it and had a 30-40 kid stampede out to the hallway. I don’t think he came back after that. I’m about 75% sure that was the last I saw him. Still wonder where he ended up.
