Next round of fishing, try Pulau Ubin's former duck farm near the jetty..its an abandoned pond/lake maintained by Npark. it's a catch-and-release spot, and you will be amazed at the fish sizes there

Is this place over on Pulau Ubin?
@rahimresad70452 жыл бұрын
@@WONDERLUSTworld , yup..after the jetty, you will cycle on the main path and keep to your right. After about 10-15 mins, you will see a pond/lake surrounded by coconut trees on your right..ideal picnic ground too :)

Oh wow we had no idea. Would we need to take our own gear - I’ve never seen fishing gear for hire but then we’ve always been going for a cycle over there.

Wow a great fishing trip. Loved to hear Milo and Aspen’s narrating too. The organiser was brilliant at interacting with all of you. A good business. 💜

So much fun! The kids want to try and catch bigger fish next time.

Well, that was fun! You guys did well, even though the fish were tiny, there was a nice variety. Dom is a real gem, so knowledgeable - hope this video encourages more people to seek his services. And the weather… wasn’t it nice for a day out in the open jetty!
@WONDERLUSTworld2 жыл бұрын
Nice to hear from you - we couldn’t believe the variety of fish in just a small spot. I do hope more people give it a go, we love trying new things 😄 it’s a lot cooler out on the jetty with the breeze, a lovely evening well spent.

I went there a few times in my life, catch ZERO fish, you guys went there, catch a ton of fish. I must be doing something wrong. Great that you guys have fun as a family. Great Fishing coach too.

I didn’t see you have any video on Kranji Farms, Sg Buloh Wetland area. Would be also a nice early morning outing to join some Birders for bird watching there. Now is the winter migratory season and you might be able to see some rare migratory birds. You will most likely see some crocs, big monitor lizards along the Sg Buloh Wetland trail.

We have a sungai Buloh episode in Milo and Aspen’s KZbin channel actually. And an old one somewhere so I think you’re right - it’s time for a revisit! We were lucky enough to see a king cobra on one of our visits there yers ago.

If u have not done so, u should bring the family to try out Kranji reservoir for snakehead and carp fishing.

Hi Jonty, If u & your family are not faint hearted and do not have sea sickness, u should try contacting off shore fishing enthusiast, go on a boat out to open sea to fish. That would be challenging. Cheers
@WONDERLUSTworld2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the idea. I think we’d need some more practice first.

Hi Jonty, it’s great to see how u involve your family and kids in outdoor fishing experience. It surely give your kids a more all rounded life. School gives them formal education while your family outdoor activities bind the family and let the kids learn about the world and natural environment they live in. A great way to de-stress and rejuvenate and one embrace nature. Hope when ur kids grow up , they will appreciate what u and your wife done for them. Cheers
