i was reading the manga because i heard the author of Scum Wish is the concept art of this, so i wonder what kind of atmosfer if he draw an idol type of manga. and it's even MORE darker and psycho, and VA of Ai made the character even MORE psychotic. next time, i will clean my brain after watching it.

Spoilers: It was so unexpected The first episode was amazing they really baited us making it seem Ai is the main character i wonder how the story progresses in the other episodes maybe because i just wanna see Aqua take revenge. It really hit hard like I want to eat your pancreas type shet but this was just even more sad Ai was so pure and didn't deserve this.I cried my eyes out as well that sudden change as she got stabbed just piano music mad either even more sad the star in her eyes going away and just seeing a corpse made it hit so hard. Her saying I love you and realising that it wasn't a lie mad me so depressed but happy at the same time, man bitter sweet things just idk how to describe it

51:20 You can't just say that "Ai herself played a part in it" and just shrug it off or even laugh it off, bro. Haven't seen any other reactor like that honestly, at one of the most emotional scenes of the movie. In the end, everybody, even the stalker to some extent, was a victim of this twisted system that manufactures lies for alienated and lonely people in this cold modern society to cling to. If anybody is really the most at fault, it's the mastermind behind it all (whom Aqua assumes to be their father), and the power that be that reaps massive rewards from this structure. In general it's just really weird to see folks smiling at the climax, like what the hell. Never seen any other reactors like this.

Ep 1 spoilers ahead-! Most of the time I hate shows that made the story just sad or kill off characters for no reason but to emotionally damage the viewers into liking it, this show executed it exceptionally well. But as of now, I still think Ai death in the story is completely unnecessary. Like they could still tell a story of how these 2 reincarnated person of an idol mother live their lives in the entertainment industry (except they are going down a revenge route, which is a different story). All I’m saying here is that if the next ep doesn’t have something to do her death / revenge plot, I will call Ai death as just a cheap tricks for hooking viewers in to some slice of life isekai anime. **But judging from manga readers I don’t think it would be so but will see** Also, parents dying protecting their kids + reminiscing about their kids future gotta be one of the saddest tropes in entertainment for me 😢.

@@jackrogue3696 well yes, that is indeed true, but I really wouldn't have minded a pure idol show in this one. Heck, I was already hooked. Why they gotta' do this :( Here's hoping for a spin-off where Ai lives.
