I feel like the Zeus problem is probably his 2. On smite one (if someone is alone, you can throw the shield for damage and a lightning tick. Then throw the 1 immediately after and when the charges are done you use your 3. I can see him being better in adc since his 2 is basically just either an escape tool or attack speed tool. Yes you can damage with it but you need to be very close, which doesn’t work out for many mages

I feel like his 2 change really fucks him over with pressure and just overall usefulness in terms of himself. It feels so awkward to attack someone in smite 2 with him imo without the shield and i'd argue that the 2 fits/should be on a tankier god to make use of. Not zeus

@@yeeteryyeets9336 I literally said he’s better adc. It’s obvious. His 2 gives attack speed buff which is what they give to hunters. But that’s super boring. I would rather him be able to mage better than adc. I would rather have to combo with abilities then just click 2 then hold down my mouse button until I get a kill. Smite 2 is eventually just gonna be full lobbies of auto attacking gods and no one will complain until then.

There should be a completely different tier list for these pro matches and the rest of the game. Hecate for example is a god that is absolutely insane for utility but doesnt benefit from it in normal games where communication is not there

Zeus needs more handholding. Hecate can initiate and peel for herself much more reliably and she may need to aim her 2 but good players can aim and it’s not an rng bounce

Zeus definitely felt troll. He's op if you're not laning into him and his opponent lets him auto stack. Predict his aegis ult and you win 90/100 1v1s. Don't 2v1 poke without minions either its chain lightning bait

Iza tends to be more powerful in casuals than pros, she’s not bad but other hunters out damage her I think.

i would say cern is basically just a better iza. they do basically the same thing but cern just does a little more damage and has a better ult. extra lane pressure isnt as important in pro play where they wont make the same mistakes that allow iza to snowball w/ casual players.

As an addition to what the others said, i think the only games i really saw her was when they were playing against an Odin. So it might be that she is just a counterpick to be able to break the cage super quickly without the team needing to get shell.

We learned that smite 2 has still a long way to go to have a competent pro scene. 90 percent of the tournament is literally unwatchable. High rez streams barely hit 150 people live on average and even when the actual good teams were playing which were more stacked they barely hit 300. Also visually the game is just very tiring to watch. On the one hand it's too bright on the other hand the map is very badly designed. There's so many trees everywhere that those side shots are just painful to watch. The map for smite 1 is way less stacked and much more visible from any angle. They need to take some lessons. The map is not a Christmas tree. You don't need to fill it with ornaments..

One solution would be to make the trees transparent to a degree. Lot's of games do this in spectator views and the normal map shouldn't be downgraded visually just for the competitive scene.

@@Inters3ct i was watching KZbin. Doesn't matter even if you were watching on twitch. Numbers are abysmal. It used to have 1400-1500 viewers on KZbin in last season of competitive smite 1. Not including worlds but phase games which are naturally less popular. And yes even twitch numbers are awful.
