The level 4 synchro has some nutty potential. With Auroradon combo you can: Deskbot 1 + 1st Token = Earfon, Earfon turn 2nd token to tuner, 2nd + 3rd token = Coral Dragon (potentially pop 1 card) Coral Dragon + Earfon = Baronne Draw 1 off Coral, Earfon equip to Baronne to attack twice

Well can you really blame them? One's deck has been terrible for years except for being too old to make Hard OPT effects, and the other has no deck despite dueling 4 times. (Man I hope they release Luna's Forest cards & Fairy Tale Fields from the manga. I mean, I know it'd likely be a mess to turn Forest into an archetype, but goodness she needs it.)

I love it! This is perfect for Morphtronics, although I hope Telephon doesn’t get banned because of meta abuse (though wouldn’t surprise me). Still hoping we get an actual Morphtronic boss monster (like how Speed Roids get synchros outside of Clear Wing), but otherwise they’ve done a great job with exactly what Morphtronics needed. As for the equips, first thing I thought of was Bamboo swords - can change a Morphtronics battle positions, get a pot of greed and then trigger the Morphtronics alternate effect for lots of pluses.

Actually, the fact that convert unit puts the monster on top of the deck isnt a downside at all if you target any morphtronic but celfon and special summon him from the deck, its great guaranteed special summon from his effect and lets you loop smartfon and telefon if they were the monster you putted on top

Cannon Soldier is legal in order to act as a proverbial canary in a coal mine: any deck with the 17 spare summons required for it to do anything useful is overpowered for other reasons, and having the outlet around will trick players into finding them for you. By Konami standards, it's actually pretty clever.

Everyone is talking about Canon Soldier, as if he would be the best way to abuse the new Morphtronic. But you can so easily Link spam with this thing, if you get access to 2 at once. Easiest way would probably be. Either One for one, it in hand or Celphone + Machine Duplication equals infinite Link Material. Turn 1 into Linkuribo, then revive the first one with one remaining, Link the spent+Linkuribo into a Link 2, use the revived one to revive the linked one, turn the newly spent one into Linkuribo either from e deck or with the revive of Linkuribo and then just repeat until you have a full Link field.

Not attempting to give Konami as a whole credit by this comment, but I think that the reason why they weren't worried about a HOPT restriction is because the Japanese and American offices are separate and the OCG has banned pretty much every burn loop card to use that strategy with. So the Japanese teams would likely weigh necessary restrictions around what they are told are locally applicable interactions.

A few problems I have with Braver: 1) His ATK/DEF is lower than Life Stream Dragon's when it's supposed to be his upgrade. 2) He has no protection from destruction, unlike his two previous forms. 3) He can only equip Equip Spells from the Deck or GY despite the fact that Life Stream can banish Equip Spells to protect himself from destruction. 4) He is generic. We already have enough generic synchro monsters, Komoney. His effects are good, obviously, though, unfortunately, it seems he is propably only going be used as an engine and/or a negate. Supermagic Sword of Raptinus is an interesting card to equip on this monster since it works with Life Exstream and Power Tool Braver Dragon can change it's own battle position. Also since it's a machine monster you can equip Gravity Blaster and Air Cracking Storm to it. Power of the Guardians and Mage Power are also very good choices. And *of course* there are always Bamboo Swords... Edit: Also Archfiend's Staff of Despair works well with Braver since if it is sent to the GY while equipped to a monster you can pay 1000 LP to return it to your hand.
