What a really notice here is how stable your core is at faster paces. By the time I get to 3min paces I'm leaned over and driving my feat down like a sprint (which is exactly what it is) if it wasnt for the background we'd back no idea you were moving faster: your upper body doesn't change at all. Makes me think I need to work on more back and core endurance

My 4:00/km looks like I'm on a race track sprinting. I've only ever done sub 20 min 5k twice, and my first 3k's were at 3:45 to 3:59/km pace. Then the fading happened, which brought my overall pace to around 3:59/km. It's very difficult to maintain a hard pace in the 5k. Expect to go slower later on.

Stride length is just a side effect of cadence and form. Context, I'm not a fast runner, 21:30 parkruns. But try this... 10 mins on a treadmill at 10kph.... Feels like a nice, easy pace. Switch it up to 15kph for a couple of minutes..... Feels too fast at first but you get into it. Switch back to 10kph, it feels so slow you may fall over. I've incorporated lots of x800 metre sprints on the treadmill at 95% 5k pace, it's really helping me improve parkrun times
