What Disney's Magic Kingdom Is Like First Thing In The Morning | Castle Welcome Show & Riding Rides!

In this video we take a trip to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom right at park opening. We watched Let the Magic Begin, the opening show that takes place in front of Cinderella Castle right at park opening. It is a really fun show with lots of special appearances from all of our favorite characters including Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse! After the show we headed into Frontierland and found a very low crowd level! The first ride we went to was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which only had a 5 min wait! After that we took a trip over to Pirates of the Caribbean to visit Captain Jack Sparrow and found another 5 minute wait! We ended up riding 5 rides before lunch with the longest wait being 10 minutes for Voyage of the Little Mermaid. It ended up getting a little too hot to stick around much longer so we called it a day around lunch time! We will be back tomorrow with a new video!

The five busts at the haunted mansion queue is actually a murder mystery, in which you look at each weapon and each sentence on each bust, and you figure out who killed who, and who was the last to die!!!! It's a great little puzzle to solve and enjoy while in line for a great ride! Love the videos, keep it up!!!!

Early bird gets the worm. Rope drop is the best. It is amazing how many rides you can get on without the need for a fastpass. You can then go back through the park at a slower pace. I agree with you Tim, start your first fastpass at 10 or 11 am.

When we go there, the first thing we do on day one is to get everyone up at the crack of dawn, make our way to the Magic Kingdom for the opening day ceremony and ride, ride, ride. Then by noon, drop everyone off at a water park and then I go play a round of golf.

I have been to Disney between 50-75 times throughout my lifetime so far. And there are things I have not seen and done yet( excluding new stuff) - morning castle show, walked on the side trail by the riverboat, eaten in every restaurant, etc. Tim and Jen have shown me things I have missed- so for me there are still many adventures!

We always do rope drop and get everything done by 11am. Around noon, we head back to our resort and go swimming. Checking in at Coronado Springs on Aug 1!!

Tim, at Haunted Mansion there is a story behind the Busts at the beginning of the standby queue. We did the Marceline to magic kingdom tour, each headstone is interconnected in the story. Also the Tombstones refer to Imagineers involved in the development of the attraction. As part of the tour we even went into the Haunted Mansion to see how it works. Gives a completely different perspective of the attraction.

The photo shoot is a special package you can get for a family photo shoot. Can also get one for special occasions like engagements as well. It is very $$$ though. I was just looking at the packages the other day while getting things started for my 2019 trip to Disney.

We love taking the buses from TTC when they run them! It's always a quick trip over to MK. We still miss the Welcome Show from the train station. There was a nostalgic magic we felt while watching it, but we understand the logistics of moving it to the stage in front of the castle. :(

That is exactly what we do... We schedule our Fast passes later in the day and go to Rope drop Then ride all the top rides. So basically we are able to ride the good rides at least twice.

We went on the people mover last year, reminded me of when I was a kid with my mom, dad, and brother in the same Disney park.. I still remember seeing the Jaws ride when I was a kid and the horror I felt, I believe that one was at Universal and me and my brother always rehash our memory of the ET ride.
