So to those not aware, Corey Taylor had talked about QI on several American talk shows, mentioning Stephen Fry and the QI elves, calling it one of the best things on TV. He became friends with the elves appearing on the podcast once, and appearing on the TV show was added to his bucket list when he turned I think 40, 3 years later he made it happen when he was in the UK I think on tour.

One of the best QI XL episodes ever. Loved the myth buster by Sandi about Helium, the question was really interesting about the experiments scientists conducted. Definitely need to get Cory and Aisling back on panel again. Cory definitely as he’s a huge QI fan, I think he’s been on Fish a few times since.

Birds are ‘avian dinosaurs’ so there were a lot of dinos which are t as related to birds which went extinct. Also it’s been tens of millions of years… BUT when you hear some big birds let out some really ‘dino sounding noises’ it does make you wonder!

@@patrickbyrne5070 I see what you're getting at, but every bird is more related to every other dinosaur than a crocodile is though. Birds are dinosaurs, we can drop the Avian as that's just a subcategory, like a 'placental mammal' is still a mammal, or a 'Great Ape' is still an Ape:) You make a good point with the noises though, I think they would sound a lot more bird-like than people initially though. Not singing and tweeting but more akin to a deeper and slower cluck - which is even more terrifying!
