How can you leave the house that opens and closes the throttle needle open to air? Isn't supposed to be pressurized? My ruckus dies immediately when given throttle because the needle isn't coming up, but if I cover it with my finger it works, why? Pleas help

I've heard people say that it changes the a/f ratio.. I believe lean. The time I ran it open, it didn't seem to make enough difference to require a full step change in jets.. but if you're really tuning, I'm sure it's important. Plus, you leave it open, junk could get in your engine, and it makes a really tacky popcorn sound.

@@GETlife what I did is I shaved that whole part off the motor and the small hole that came out of the bottom of the head I drilled a hole and put a threaded plug in
