I read this when it was released, I wasn't even interested or into mafia subjects at the time. I was in High school, saw it at a book store bought it randomly as an impulse and read it in one sitting, all night. It was just fascinating ... after that i got really into the whole encyclopedia ( the subject) and studied anything in could that had to do with la cosa nostra. As I watch these, I feel as if Sammy is someone we all know, like a family member, I agree with your comment, lol and I respond because when I read it, I was nodding head but also thinking " sammy will also not hesitate to kill you if he had to"

I don't know how accurate Sammy's stories are, people tend to embellish stories and given that hes giving his perspective i take some with a grain of salt. One thing is for sure, Sammy has a way of telling stories that make you feel as if you were there to see yourself.
