Wow, that's a ton of links!
Well with those out of the way, time for me to ramble on about this video.
I hate it.
Well, hate is a little strong. I'd say dislike.
I just feel like I could have done this way, way better, and, yet, here we are. Oh well! It was a new type of video, so you can tell I had some issues with it. I just believe I didn't get my feelings about each song across. But, hey, if I get any new songs out of this or if anyone else listens to someone new from this, I'll consider this a success.
And, also, I gave the popups a break this video. After the last one, they deserve it.
Oh... yeah... that Pan "Singing" bit:

ohmygoditshim Uh, hey! How's it going? This video was just a bit of a shitpost, since I just wanted to talk about something I felt like deserved to be talk about more. And I suppose it managed to find the right audience even though I tried to hide the point. Your work is great and I (and many, many other people based on the comments) thoroughly enjoy it. If you like Tally Hall may I recommend They Might Be Giants? Their music is crazy neat including their Here Comes Science album which was the soundtrack for an animated kids science program. It’s neat how in each song on that album they take inspiration from distinctly different artists that can be recognized if you’re enough of a nerd. Their other albums are phenomenal with my top favorite song of any of them being Birdhouse In Your Soul. Give them a listen if you haven’t already!
@LauraSullivan-jd1cy

Tally Hall posted a video saying that if they get 30-40 million monthly listeners on Spotify, they will reunite! They’re probably just joking about the number (but hopefully not about them coming back). Either way, I want to bring hype to this situation, and most importantly, to spread the Tally Hall listenership! So please listen and pass on this information!

OMG they might be giants here comes science is one of my favorite albums! of course their cover of istanbull is popular but i also like birdhouse in your soul. They also did the mickey mouse clubhouse intro and outro, a cover of theres a great big beautiful tommorow on the meet the robinsons soundtrack and the piano song in the movie Coraline. @@Pan.Gaming Yes you should! The amount of emotion, beauty, whimsy, and clever writing encapsulated in that album is incredible. Songs like Cicada Days, Euthanisa (a song for me that is personally one of the saddest songs I've ever heard) and Against the Kitchen Floor are some the best in catalogue. It is his best mixed album and I feel is his most real, personal ,and cohesive work. It almost feels more like a folk album at times with songs like falling up and Let's Get You Home (which is another song that is just beautiful.) Its a work that is very different from the high energy of the normal album (which I also love, Marsha is one of his best written pieces imo and is rly good live) and it works for it! okay I hope thats enough of me gushing over "In case I make it" for you to give it a earnest listen.

@@Pan.Gamingas a major will wood fan, I originally thought I wouldn’t like in case i make it, however it’s in my top albums now! I whole heartedly recommend giving it a listen. if you want something more like the originals try ‘the main character’ or maybe ‘cicada days’ but my personal favourites are ‘against the kitchen floor’ ‘half-decade hangover’ ‘that’s enough, let’s get you home’ and ‘tomcat disposables’. Personally, I listened to all of these groups separately and then found Jash during his early Tally Hall days. But, it's crazy to me that all of them seem to come together as a genre, I guess? I mean some people have suggested the thing in common would be that they're all gay or neurodivergent music???? Which, I mean, I guess???? Simply being gay/neurodivergent surpasses all genres

They all have that weird edgy not edgy kinda indie vibe and sound to them. Like THERE ARE NOT A LOT, IF NOT, NOT ANY OTHER ARTISTS THAT HAVE THE SAME SOUND. Each one of them have their own sound but still fit in the same category, they all express the story that they want to express so clearly it’s one of my favorite genres of music

I love Chonny jash!! They give such a new meaning to cover to where I don’t know if it even count for the original meaning, but I love it. His series following multiple songs by tally hall through his three characters, heart, mind, and soul is again, amazing. “Spring and a storm” by tally hall has meant so much to me and I’ve drawn up tattoo designs with the lyrics that I plan to have done one day, in both versions jash covers, he keeps the “we have so much left to sing” which has always been the most impactful line to me. I love the dissection of their music, because the praise is warranted, but seeing how jash keeps and trades and changes for narrative purposes constantly, but not only keeps that line, puts HEAVY emphasis on it, and covered it twice with two different characters singing, leads me to believe they might have a similar connection to mine to the song. Id love to be Able to make music like that, just to spend time and deconstruct and reconstruct the elements to spend time with the art, he’s such a wonderful artist and I’m glad we get to share his way of re-contextualizing music with the world. It’s so awesome.

Well the good news is that's all I'm planning on doing: Whatever I'm interesting in talking about! And while making video is a TON of work (it take me about an hour of work for a minute of editing. just editing. not script writing and recording.), I think they can be quite fun to do! It's easy, for me at least, to get into an hours long groove of editing. Thanks for the comment!

IM SO GLAD SOMEONE FINALLY MENTIONED COSMO SHELDRAKE HES AWESOME I also love tally hall, miracle musical, I kinda like will wood though very selective with his songs, I’ve only ever heard Charlie’s inferno but it’s awesome, and I love Chonny jashes covers. I’m so glad to FINALLY find someone to share my music taste. A new music artist I’d suggest is Jorge Rivera-Herrans, responsible for Epic: the musical and he’s AMAZING

Will say as someone who's been an avid listener to That Handsome Devil, lots of their old albums give that same satisfaction of Charlies Inferno. But in my opinion, feel more thoroughly written. Other artists that have that same vibe if THD are Tub Ring, Grand Commander, Nick Lutsko and just a bit of Jhariah and Shayfer James. All on Spotify, please give them a try :)

If this video wasn't secretly about Chonny Jash, I would have 100% mentioned Fish in a Birdcage. I mean the Memeto Mori comparison could have just gone three ways, with Will Wood, Chonny, and Fish in a Birdcage. Anyways, my personal favorites from them are Four Aces and Angel Tango! But I'll have to sit down and listen to all of them, as I'm sure I've missed quite a few.

I enjoyed maybe the first couple chonny jash songs, but my love of WW and tally hall comes from how unique every one of their songs sounds, and I don't get the same feel from Chonny Jash. My playlists growing up were consisted of a huge range of different songs that gathered from all over the place, from meme and video game songs like Still Alive, to queen and the Beatles, to Avril Lavigne and Neutral Milk Hotel, to extremely random songs like these songs from a band called "Communism" that I found by just searching communism into the iTunes search bar. I could never listen to an entire album from these, even those I liked a lot like Queen, because it felt so monotonous to me. So when I found tally hall (and later ww), i loved the fact that I was basically listening to one of my playlists; every song completely changed its style while also maintaining a strong narrative. Which is why I don't really like Chonny Jash that much. I'll add a couple of his songs to my aforementioned playlists, but to me his songs mesh together as loud, heavy and screamy, and generally I prefer the original over the cover.

I know exactly what those 4 songs have in common: They are in my liked songs in Spotify. Other great introductions to each band would be: That Handsome Devil - Savages Tally Hall - Ruler of Everything Cosmo Sheldrake - Come along Will Wood - Laplace's Angel And yeah, seeing how we coincide in music taste I'm definitely gonna give Chonny a listen.

This popped up in my recommended and I'm so glad it did because even though I've never heard of you, we have such overlapping music tastes and senses of humor that I wish we were best friends. I also took lots of choir and can hardly read sheet music. I wish I could play an instrument besides my voice but it's fun to sing anyway. You're so cool! Keep doing what you're doing even when you're not sure about it, because I can confirm it's amazing!

Oh! Good to see another choir person! Welcome! Yeah, I've always tried to find an outlet for some creativity, and while I can't play any instruments... or paint/draw... or write that well... I think I've started to find something I can do, being making these videos! And, while I do kinda hate how this video turned out, I'm glad for the amount of positive feedback on them! While the views and subscribers are cool (I was right under 400 subs before this video), what really means something is the comments. Knowing that I made something that caused another to go out of their way to say something is amazing! So, uh, thanks for the comment! And I'm just gonna save your for motivational purposes, so congratulations!

Yep! I started by doing Omega Strikers montages to learn how to edit videos! But since that game is pretty much dead (small indie pvp game running out of players), I've been trying my hand at video essays! This is my third one, as I'm sure you've seen. And I would HIGHLY recommend the "Ishmael, Siffrin..." video. It took me a month and a half to make, and if you're a Limbus enjoyer, you'll probably like the other game packaged in there (In Stars And Time)! If you do check out my other stuff, let me know!

Maybe you already know this, but AXIE, someone who makes fan songs about games, mainly mascot horror like FNAF or Poppy Playtime, has released a song called "TERRIBLE THINGS", the song is about the FNAF character William Afton and his experience of life and death. In his song, he also uses the sound verse from Charlie's Inferno, but changes it to fit his story, when he uses it, it's the baging that he doesn't want to die that changes to the baging that he wants to die, which somehow reminds me of Charlie's Inferno. My favourite about them are the endings, in Charlie when he falls into the black abyss and in TERRIBLE THINGS when everything turns red as his world crumbles to pieces, I'll be honest, the TERRIBLE THINGS part kinda made me lose some tears the first time I heard it, but I'm also kinda sentimental so...
