I love these protective images of God. The Lion and the bird are such great pictures. One may be bigger than the other, but they are both as fierce in their protection.

Each of the images covered this month have helped open me to the fact that I still make God too small instead of as BIG as he really is!

All the images have spoken to me, but the one I ‘keep’ is the Rock - which speaks to me of stability & not moved. In the days in which we are living I need that Rock.

I resonated with the red wing blackbird image. I have been dive-bombed by birds as a warning to not disturb the little ones. When we sin God communicates through the Holy Spirit and warns us we are on the wrong path. That warning is given us by a loving God. An angry God would not give us a warning but maybe strike us down.

I like all these images. They give me a different perspective of God's awesome work. The one I like most is God as Parental Bird, also God as Eagle. I like the bird images. I didn't really understand what was meant to be hidden in the "shadow of His wings". Knowing more about the characteristics of birds and animals gives me a more vivid realization of God's care, protection, and how He carries us when we're in trouble. Thank you, Moody, for this series. It really enhances my faith, fills in gaps in my understanding of who God is. I needed this.
