Nice video. Is your apartment quiet? Or can you hear traffic outside, people in the hallway, your neighbors, doors slamming etc? I ask because I do business calls on zoom and need my place to be quiet.
@TravelingSoloLogs3 ай бұрын
For the most Part it was quiet. I couldn't here the traffic because I was on a high floor and good spacing between the apartments but once in awhile you do hear people in the hallway. I hope that helps!

Your doing well young man considering the expensive rent where you are ! --- Many expats with more experience over there are able to get a bit more for the $ and maybe you will too after some time. 2 things over 'there' determine your cost of living -- location - and - lifestyle. If you travel some - you will find that out. > Happy trails !

Don’t recognise that part of Makati, looks a bit rough 😩. I lived next door to Greenbelt 1, it is much nicer there.👍. It was Greenbelt park place at the time the best building in Makati. BGC didn’t really exist then. Even in 2007 I was paying 30k pm which is around $545.
@TravelingSoloLogs3 ай бұрын
This Area is ok in Makati. If you walk like 5 minutes you get to the nicer part of makati near greenbelt and the park

Thats a great idea to save yes, but from what I noticed usually the owners charge per head. They try to get the maximum profit from their place.

As always there seems to be a few important cost overlooked: Healthcare/medical expenses Visa fees/renewal costs Entertainment beyond basics Unexpected expenses/emergencies Taxes/banking fees And that doesnt include: Risks Facing Manila Earthquakes. There are many earthquakes in the Philippines. ... Volcanic Eruptions. Manila is at a high risk of volcanic eruptions. ... Tsunamis. Most of the Philippines is located in a high-risk tsunami zone while the metropolis of Manila is located in a moderate-risk tsunami zone. ... Typhoons. ... Floods. ... Landslides Dengue fever A major mosquito-borne disease in the Philippines, with 208,000 cases reported as of September 2024. Chikungunya An emerging viral infection in the Philippines, transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Malaria A life-threatening disease transmitted by the Anopheles mosquito, which prefers clean water and bites at night. West Nile virus Transmitted by the Culex mosquito, which is commonly found in urban and rural areas and bites at night. Japanese B-Encephalitis
