About this visit:
They arrived Duluth May 31, 2024 at 14:19, cruising by my video cameras at a speed of 5.2 kts, heading to Port Terminal with a cargo of Bagged Quartz Sand from Turkey! They arrived at Port Terminal dock 1 at 4:56. They unloaded all their cargo and finally departed the dock June 06 at 19:02, heading up river to the Hallett 8 dock to load Iron Ore Pellet Chips!
I do have their departure, will put a surprise view of them at Hallett 8 in that video...

I agree! The Pilot used to be the Captain of the Burns Harbor, he would always treat us to a multitude of salutes when coming into Duluth or Superior! Brought me back to those days! What a fun arrival it was!

They are! I thought it was interesting as well, all connected by the "handles" on the bags. I was amused how the ship rocked when they move the crane.

She's good looking, coming in off the lake under that beautiful sky! She sure likes to lean on her horn. I got a kick out of the little Vista Star following her through the canal to sneak under the bridge before it comes down.

I delivered similar size bags of quartz to Port Terminal a couple of weeks ago, but they there unloaded from a 20' shipping container.

It appears they are fixing the structure failure points. i rumor I heard is out sailing by July 15 or so.
