Dear Esther, I am glad you like quinoa!! I was so happy to hear that your mentioned that quinoa is from PERU. I am from Peru and I love your videos. You have to try also yacon with your juices, shacha inchi oil with your salads and prepare a drink with purple corn (chicha morada). Please dont forget to make a video of movement sequences to releave SI joint pain. Love your videos!!

Vegetarian kitchen. I eat the same things, plus eggs. I love whole milk and kefir. Occasional meat as well. Nuts aren't the same as meat. Vegetarians have to eat a huge variety of plant foods to stay healthy. Also, I heard somewhere that juices are like drugs. they have a lot of super concentrated substances. Ideally, you should have that fiber from the veggies added back to the juice. Or better yet, just eat them whole.

I use lots of herbs, fresh if possible, parsley, basil, thyme, rosemary, cumin, ground coriander, turmeric, curry, cayenne pepper, saffron. I ate meat very seldom, and organic in the past, now I don't like it so much anymore. I also believe the meat industry isn't great and it can't be healthy that way!

from a viewer's perspective, i think it's important to say that one shouldn't change their diet like this overnight or because they want to lose weight. Esther's diet comes from a passion of being healthy which has evolved over a lifetime to where she's at right now. for those of us who have only recently begun to try and be more healthy, it must be taken in steps and with patience so as not to be an overwhelming and alienating sort of change.

I've switchef to almond milk. Tasted weird at first, but now I like it. It actually quenches thirst, unlike regular milk. The only time I need real milk is for my EarlGray tea. No breakfast without it... Otherwise, thank you Esther.

Continued!!! I started getting huge acne spots like I haven't had since before I went on Roaccutane, a very strong prescription-only acne drug, 6 years ago. As soon as I switched back to Oatly oat milk, my skin started to go down. I've sinced looked into the links and found it's a common issue because of the hardcore synthetic hormones pumped into our cows in the West to make them yield more milk. Thought I'd share that with you!

Hello Esther! Thank you for showing us your kitchen and your eating habits. I was very happy to see that I have the same juicer ;) I try to follow more or less the same rules. The only thing that bothers me is - I drink a lot of cow milk. You seem to be strictly against it. Can you share your wise opinion about cow milk with me, please! It would be very appreciated! Anyway, thank you! I´m quite a fit person but a total yoga beginner and your videos are always so helpful! Thank you! Kate

Wow.. that edit was really funny! great to see you poke fun at yourself.. Yea the best thing many people could do is switch to hemp, rice, or nut milks, but UNSWEETENED versions.. I use Almond Breeze and it is awesome. Regular milk tastes and smells like it was excreted from a farm animal topped off with a little puss.. oh wait, it is. Good call on the Quinoa, sounds like "Keen-wa" actually, but anyway werks ;) Maple syrup is a favorite, but I use medjool date paste for sweetening now

yes blender can work too but then you need a sieve to seperate the juice from the pulp and you need plenty of time and patience to watch the juice dropping out of the sieve into your glass; lol in about an hour should fill the you may have a full glass of juice ready to drink. if u work i suggest after blending you take the blender; sieve and drinking glass and set it up on the passenger seat of your car; by the time you reach your office; juice should be ready; cheers

Thanks for the tour. Nearly four years ago, I changed diet for health reasons. I eat similarly to you except no animal products at all, ever. It has taken awhile, but I am getting healthier. Even my grey hair is disappearing. The secret is in the greens and quinoa is absolutely delicious in place of rice. Still dream of pizza and pastry but don't indulge.

Thanks for that insight. I changed my diet almost a year ago very similar to what you are showing. (lost about 60lbs) Every now and then I try to go back to eating things like pizza, meat and cheese. It is great going down but then my body reacts horribly to it and then I have to get back on track with the vegetarian style of eating. And really it is great, you throw out all that garbage and just eat a lot of wonderful foods, like berries, nuts, fruit, vegies. Mind and body!!!!

You mention Oat Milk - I started using this a couple of years ago because cow's milk was giving me catarrh (not a particularly huge amount, but I'm an opera singer so highly aware of it). Anyway, about a year ago, I ran out and hadn't ordered any online, so I just went back to normal milk for a bit (I'm allergic to soya). Well, within a few weeks, my skin went crazy.

Not the juice but my husband use to eat cellary may be one stalk every day. He has kidney stones of 8 mm and one of the person I met he has 1.6 cm kidney stone. The common denominator was cellary. I googled oxlate rich food and in that I found Cellary is one of the biggest. Oxalate combines with calcium and forms Calcium Oxalate monohydrate and Calcium Oxalate dihydrate stones in Kidney. But it is necessary to drink 4 liters of fluid every day. What will you advice me for the cellary juice.

I'm so glad she thought to share this. It is inspiring to see a 100% kitchen. We are at like 50%. The family loves Almond Milk and Soy Milk (in moderation) and Rice Milk. Regular milk is grossing me out once I heard of puss from wounded cow teats just going into the milk supply and the farmers (machines) not caring about that. Yuck.

@jea740 Maple syrup comes from trees that live hundreds of years. It's the most organic, healthy, and delicious in comparison to all of the rendered down syrups :). That is why its more expensive. In this case, you get what you pay for. It's lovely and healthy. Ofc, too much of anything is bad for you. But it's the healthier of choices.

@1965parkvic You should maybe do a little research about the meat and dairy industry and how it affects our bodies and environment. It is quite bad though if one is to eat such things it's true moderation is best. And a vegan diet/life style can be super tasty and one can still indulge in "unhealthy" treats that don't involve dairy or meat. In fact the energy, health and overall well being of a person on a vegan diet (when it's done right of course) makes life all that more enjoyable :]

@wermorthanthis01 Pft. Doctors saying 'it's not possible' unfortunately doesn't mean much anymore. I was told my allergy to aspirin was 'impossible', turns out it was an immune issue and now it doesn't have any negative effects. My mother was told she would never walk again after a surgery and now she jogs every morning. My uncle had a wart consuming his entire leg ( He looked as if he did not have a knee at all ). Doctors couldn't do anything for him, but, my diet change for him killed it out.
