*”Abba”* is a word that spontaneously comes out of my mouth, when I pray and the tongues of the Holy Spirit come out of my mouth. It took me a few years to realize that I was even saying this word. The Holy Spirit inside me recognized that I was a son before I really comprehended it. I don’t recognize any other word or the language that the Holy Spirit speaks through me. 🇨🇦

Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. This is my heart's cry many times a day. I suffer from chronic pain-- it's constant! To be honest, if it weren't for Abba, Father, I would have a hard time just making it hour by hour. I praise you, my Abba, Father!

Same here Megan sometimes you feel like nobody understands how much pain that you are in and do not know if people believe you are suffering or faking it. Stay strong we all suffer for Christ Jesus he knows how you feel and i am sure it is all for a purpose. Patience is a virtue Romans 8:28

@@Steven-jf8hq No doubt about it, my friend! The Lord knows our suffering and is somehow glorified in our sufferings. As we suffer, we are more able to look forward to that glorious day of His coming. We are truly clensed from our desire to hold on to anything his world has to offer, and we become 100% dependant on Him. Perhaps we are able to proclaim that we have been crucified with Christ, and it's no longer us who lives, but Christ that lives in us. As our father of faith, Abraham, we absolutely know that this world is not all there is, as we eagerly await our heavenly home, and the wonderful appearing if or great Lord and Savior, Jesus. Hallelujah! You stay the course my friend, and know that your Redeemer lives! You will be rewarded greatly! No more sorrow, no more pain, we will be living in a constant state of blessing. Thankyou so much for shedding precious light on what this expression 'Abba, Father!' means in the depths, after having become God's child. I have struggled deeply with this, not due to faith issues but a very crushed father- experience, a very fearful, bruised and protected / walled-in heart. Your explanation is totally new to me and so eye- opening, that of course Jesus himself teaches and heals our broken heart, as He casts light on what our true Father is like....Wow! I've always heard, that these words must come on our own, that we just naturally speak them once born again. And for people who have trauma behind then, this process is not fast, but a slow and painful one, as we gain trust for the first time. This passage has been such a burden. I'd never seen / registered, that there are actually these two quite different passages on this expression: ' Abba, Father!'. I had internalised only Romans and 'my' part. Thankyou 💛 What a huge (!) load taken off, that Jesus leads us, teaches us, cries for us and to us of the trustworthiness of God as Father, until we can cry with Him and rivers of LIFE finally flow freely 💛🙏 This Verse came to mind: 'He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,...' Isaiah 61:1

I needed this teaching. I struggle with believing that God could love or want me, or forgive me. I try to live a sin free life but it seems like every day i catch myself in a lie of convenience, or i catch myself being arrogant or trying to look attractive in front of men who aren't my husband. I worry all the time about my salvation and constantly ask God to not give up on me. It's scary to feel this way and I really need to feel God's love. I do feel Him sometimes but i need constant reassurance bc my faith in God's love for me is very shaky. My life is too easy and I can't imagine God seeing me as fit for Heaven.

Mikael, your heart of stone has been removed and HE has given you a new heart. He sees you and knows the desires of your heart. In fact, there's nothing that HE doesn't know about you, for HE knew you before you were formed in your mother's womb. Your heart will change more and more as you continue to nourish it with the Word of God. I must say that, sadly there are so many within the Church that are malnourished because they lack the spiritual food of the Word of God. It's in His Word that we find all that we need to continue to grow and develop. Feeding on the Word is so much more important than food is to our mortal bodies, for we hunger and thirst for righteousness. Without the Word, we wither away into obscurity. Always remember that the Bible is our only source of TRUTH. If we neglect to read and study, we become easy prey for the enemy to devour. God bless your heart, my friend!

I think when Paul says in Gal 4:6 that the Spirit cries out 'Abba, Father', he is compressing his thoughts, and that he really means the same as he means in Rom 8:15, where he says that we cry out 'Abba, Father' by the Spirit. The idea is that WE cry out 'Abba, Father', but the Spirit helps to make the experience of having God as our Father real to us.

"Abba, Father" (Αββα ὁ πατήρ) is used only three times in the bible. Interesting that this 13 minute answer, in formulating a meaning, doesn't discuss the foundational instance: the prayerful words of the SON to the FATHER by his SPIRIT. It is the Gethsemane prayer around which Paul would build his own "Abba" teachings. Take note as well, that Jesus speaks of "the spirit" Πνεῦμα in related conjunction, the verse following. (same Grk word used in the Galatians & Romans references). And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray. And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy; And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch. And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. And he said, *Abba, Father,* all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will but what thou wilt. And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour? However, the Aramaic's "Abba"; and the bibles' "Abba"; is far different; than Jesus "the Father" (Being the ONLY true God). Proof... 1. John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 2. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was within God, and the Word was God. 3. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh (Jesus), and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. 4. John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. 5. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh (Jesus), justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 6. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7. Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Now the muslims and those who call themselves "jews"; take great "issues" with the above. For the muslims say that Jesus was NOT God. But; "just a prophet like Muhammad". And those who call themselves Jews; totally deny Jesus adamantly and categorically. Sad, but true. So "calling" out to ANY one, EXCEPT to Jesus; who IS the only TRUE "Abba", AKA: GOD Almighty; IS Blasphemy and AKA: "Unforgivable Sin". Which is the ONLY sin that sends ANY one to hell. Believe it or not. So beware of that Aramaic "Abba". Because it is really satan. Oh indeed! For, on "Judgment Day"; ALL will know that Jesus WAS, IS and ALWAYS the ONLY true God. Sadly, those who deny Jesus; WILL be cast into a "Burning Lake of Fire" AKA: hell! Believe it or not. I rest me case...
