Mushrooms did wonders in my life. I suffered severe anxiety and mental disorder years ago as a teenage. Got diagnosed with OCD. Spent my whole life fighting OCD. Not until my mom recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

YES very sure of Dr.alishrooms. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.

@MartFrancis5 ай бұрын
I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

But actually, if he had any hidden motivation, it would be to discourage competition by presenting higher costs, not lower(which would be the case if he was selling growing equipment, for example). I agree it's honest, but be clear on reasons why he'd try to be honest- not strictly out of the goodness of his heart.♥

This is a very nice set up! The right way! Buttttt I was doing 35-50kg per week in my small basement for under 750 bucks, had to stop due to family issues but you can most deffinetly do this for a budget, home made flowhood for 50$, know it sounds too good to be real but I had 14 restaurants and 4 different farmers markets I supplied, us did a lot off business on etsy for extracts and dried product, was selling about 25-35kg per week on average but produced 40-50kg just incase, it's my true passion and learned all my work from mossy creek mushroom, one day I will be growing again, Mush love yall!

ATTENTION: As mentioned by user Jaeson Barnard, these costs are to setup an operation that can grow 30-100kgs per week. If you just want to grow some mushrooms for your dinner plate, it can be done very cheaply! around $50 and some time and you'll have yourself a delicious feed of mushrooms.

There are several ideas you can try select the best variety - there are many available. grow them in the right environment - some eg oyster muchrooms like cool humid conditions and may be put outdoors (I read these and why they work on gregs mushroom grower site )

I'm seriously looking into doing this. I've had previous experience with the trade, and I know what it is going to take. My estimate for what you have described here is about $10,000. I've cut a few corners where I know I can; (no commercial fridge) and probably over budgeted for lab supplies which are more disposable. But, I would say you present a pretty good estimate in the end.

Building your own laminar flow hood is a lot of fun, but you can't beat the price on the ones Meyer's Mushrooms has for sale. Costs sound realistic, assuming you have the space for a lab, incubation, and fruiting room. For most startups, renting a commercial space isn't going to be viable. Great video as usual. :)

Thanks Paul! Costing is hard because there is an almost infinite amount of factors that people have to account for. Also I haven't included ongoing costs like power, rent etc. But I think I have covered most of what people need to setup a small farm.

Renting a van is certainly an option in much of the world, I could, I could have a van on the road by the end of the day here if I did it right now (it's 1500hrs here just now) I myself have 2 couple hundred litre still air boxes I use, & I just use small 15 litre Dub tubs to grow, & just use jars for Grain Spawn & Subtrate & small jars for cultures. Dub tubs are fantastic for the I guess we'd call this the Ultra Cheap method, if I do eventually take this commercial, I could already supply local restaurants weekly with fresh mushrooms, just using 2 walls of shelving in 1 of my rooms, the tubs are effectively self regulating in terms of humidity & aeration just needing, the sealed ones just need opened every few hours once significantly grown, & I have others with filters that aerate just fine. I'm still just finding my feet in this field, just how I could move forward on this is the really intensive task, if I can tackle that for most contingencies, I may actually do this. I could easily already make decent money from this to fuel an expansion, I've got 2 perfectly good rooms I could utilise for this right now & be succesful. It's just terrifying taking that next step ya know. Setup cost for me to take up those 2 walls would be around a grand, & substrate & grain just a fraction of that per month here

potentially, but there are a lot of other costs involved. for 50 bags per week it will probably cost a little more than 7.5k for the bare minimum setup.
