Why you shit yourself with rage when you read some phrases from Liber AL ?

Is believing in solar-phallicism a core doctrine of what it means to be a Thelemite? I guess I’m more of a Baptist when it comes to the Elixir of Life because when Crowley says “sperm is God”, I understand the symbolic significance of the spermatozoon but Crowley’s literal meaning of that seems ridiculous and I don’t know if that view is justified in the Holy Books to begin with.

In the context of Thelema, the Phallus and Ra-Hoor-Khuit are cognate symbols through which to participate in the same underlying spiritual reality. Same goes for jizz, the Holy Spirit, and Baphomet as vehicles of the joy of existence. I have a video queued up on how sex magick and mysticism relate to Thelema that you may find helpful.

Sperm exists

@@Entelecheia Right so I can understand sperm as a symbol like Baphomet which points to a spiritual reality, but I get the sense, and correct me if I’m wrong, that Crowley views the sperm as having magical power in of itself. This being the justification for felching and the like. This seems to be a pretty antiquated and reductive belief which is why I’m curious if you think it to be a core aspect of what Thelema is.
@Entelecheia3 ай бұрын
@@Xeper616 Your curiosity is valid. Crowley did indeed attribute magical significance to bodily fluids, viewing them as potent carriers of life force and spiritual energy. While this idea may seem antiquated or reductive today, it's essential to see it within the broader context of Thelema. The core of Thelema is about discovering and expressing one's true will and exploring the interplay of the physical and spiritual realms. The focus on bodily fluids is just one aspect of Crowley's broader mystical framework, which invites practitioners to find personal meaning and spiritual insight in various symbolic and ritual practices.

I thought it was about creating my own religion, I read the books first, puked on the jewmysticism, stripped the practices from its canaanite roots and after some years developed my own rituals, then I discovered that the human experience is futile and my will is mother earths will but Im too broke to heal our mother

Sure. That's another opinion.

Really appreciate the channel and these videos. However I got to challenge you on a statement. In my hardest moments I will literally just open up the book of the law to a random verse and meditate upon it until its meaning becomes clear and is able to affect me and bring me to balance in my work. It has literally never failed me , and I was jus thinking to myself how crazy it is that just 220 verses contain a scripture that can act as an entire microcosm of universal spiritual information in order to connect me directly to the word of aiwass as the word of god itself. To me this is what makes the book of the law so profound is its sheer completeness and ability to guide me as a magician in literally anything in my life since i associate my life and natural growth as the greatwork itself. Does this make ME stupid? i understand where you were coming from in being grounded and separating the planes sort to speak. But I had to challenge that statement because I personally rely on The holy books of Thelema as my sole spiritual guide, i dont think its stupid at all.
@Entelecheia3 ай бұрын
No, that doesn't seem stupid. I don't think it contains the solution to any problem whatsoever, though. Crowley says it solves all philosophical problems which to me sounds unlikely at best.
@13squared573 ай бұрын
@@Entelecheia Agreed I dont think it can solve any problem whatsoever, again keeping in mind the separation of the planes. The book of the law isnt going to tell me how to balance the chemicals in the water in my swimming pool. It will however tell me how to bring balance to the watery part of my spiritual identity and how my emotional ethics should be guided and what my aspirations should be oriented toward. For me part of being a thelemite was coming to accept that, Thelema and the book of the law in particular is a single microcosmic focus of spiritual knowledge that ushered in a new aeon and declared its principles in one singular text. And one central tenant which is Do what thou wilt / 93. Of course to me this is expanded upon in the additional holy books and thru V.V.V.V.V. Just as we view the book of thoth and the tarot as being a complete map of the universe in visual and ordered form, I also view the book of thaw as being a full map of the great work itself in textual form. just as 78 is the manifestation of MZLA in the tarot , the book of the law in its 220 verse is a manifestation of the 22 keys x the magickal expansion of the 11. I will admit tho im probably more theologically invested in it than the average thelemite. But yeah the book of the isnt going to tell me how to fix my air conditioner or how to make a delicious ham sandwich. It tells me how to invoke the most inner core of my being and how to make cakes to eat in service of the work. Anyways thanks for the videos I really enjoy them and following you.

@@EntelecheiaI agree with you both, it’s bibliomancy, which means artfully interpreted, playing co-creator with the words. But they are not the authors intention or even in their consideration when they write them or channel them in this case.
