I think a lot of Christian Men/Women in the West are struggling to find a good Christian spouse PERIOD regardless of their race.
@darcyjrpliego346 ай бұрын
I noticed that too, and I came to realize that men and women in the West are unfortunately being heavily influenced by the culture, politics and twisted ideologies around them (the culture of extreme individualism that can lead to narcissistic behaviors, greed, feminism, materialism, social media influence, the company they keep, sometimes believing the twisted beliefs of their parents or grandparents concering groups of people, etc.) Where there is a lack of empathy between both genders that diverts their focus on living for and being changed by Christ. Sometimes, they are led astray by pride, entitlement, and arrogance to the point where their character becomes corrupted (yes, there are some who get angry at this fact that they choose to stay in that darkness but what good is there in reacting bitterly and defensively to even ignoring these things? It won't solve anything, but let these wicked things continue to run their course and continue to corrupt and harm people. Instead, it's more productive to take a firm stand against such things and be the light that the Lord calls us to be) to then settle for a sinful lifestyle. Obviously, I am NOT saying that everyone in the West is like that, but people there need to be fully aware and understand these issues are serious in order to combat them. Dear brother, I do believe there are amazing men and women of God in the West, but they need to make sure they are not focusing on the wrong things but rather holding on to Jesus hand and following His lead through the power of the Holy Spirit.

This was very heartwarming to read. As a 23 year old Latino (specifically Mexican with Spanish roots), there were some things in your post that I can relate to, such as growing up in a diverse neighborhood, going to school with, getting along well, and playing with neighbors and children of different backgrounds which brought me joy as a kid and even today as a young adult, I love being around people of different races and backgrounds not just my own latino brothers. Also, like you, as I got older, growing up in the Latino community I did notice a similar sentiment of bitterness and past pain/hurt, in this case, due to the negative history with the Spanish Conquest who did many horrible things even extracting resources from the Latin American countries for their nations own interests (same deal with the USA intervening in the politics and economy of Latin American countries and similar to what European countries did to many African nations) leaving many communities in Latin America in poverty (scarce in resources) and increased injustices as a result. Similarly, sometimes, some Latinos would also take this bitterness out mainly on the Spaniards and other races and victimize themselves too carrying all this unforgiveness for generations. Plus, there also tends be bitterness, discrimination and envy between Latinos of same and/or different nationalities that is why we commonly hear this phrase that reads, for example, "el enemigo de un Mexicano (or whatever Latin American nationality the person identifies as) es otro Mexicano." (Translated to "the enemy of a Mexican is another Mexican"). Indeed, as a follower of Christ, our Lord teaches us to forgive at all times, amen! Keeping that in mind, it always motivates me to obey the Lord through the Holy Spirit so that my character and actions are totally contrary to what my culture encourages. Having met a lot Spaniard, I remember telling some of them that what happened in the past stays in the past, but moving on forward we cannot tolerate nor allow such colonial attitudes (which comes from the sinful flesh) from the ancestors to take over in our societies ever again to the point where people see it as a good thing but fail to realize how it actually affects so many people negatively. I pray that the people in Spain and Latin America can come to Jesus for salvation of their sins! Blessings in Jesus' name, dear sister in Christ 🙏

For example, he created a different variety of fruit and some of the fruits like an Apple God created it in different varieties, like green apple, red apple, yellow apple and so forth, but it was all apples. God created varieties in Trees, flowers and they of different colors, different varieties of fish, cats, horses, dogs, chickens, and all animals. God created different Stars, and each star is different in glory. Yes, in all of God's creation he created the same things in a different variety. God loves colors. So likewise, God created a different variety of PEOPLE with different looks, and color, they were all made in his image and likeness and he saw that they were very good after he created them and God bless them all the same. God didn't keep them apart, but blessed them. What was the race of Adam and Eve? There was no race, they were just MAN and WOMAN, MALE and FEMALE. God said what he had created was VERY GOOD. What was the nationality of Adam and Eve? They were not of any nationality, they were just Man and woman. God is not a racist, he created the different races of people for his own glory and pleasure. Racism is not evil. It is normal human behaviour. You are obviously not reading your bible. Was God 'racist' for forbidding his people to practise intermarriage with other tribes? Was He 'racist' when he forbade Ammonites to enter the assembly of the Lord, even down to the 10th generation? Was St Paul a 'racist' for saying all Cretans are liars with slow bellies?
@bigblick1016 ай бұрын
@user-qs4xw7ye5s get real. Racism as defined today is evil, as it promotes hatred and suspicion based solely on appearance. It used to mean where we came from, i.e. the Irish race, the Swedish race, the Tibetan race, etc. Pay attention to what the Bible actually says. God was against the Hebrews intermarrying with other tribes because of their idolatry. He will not compete with false gods. Such was the case with the Ammonites. As for Paul, he was quoting a Cretian philosopher, and agreed with him. Don't take the verse out of context; he left Titus there to preach the Gospel, as there were many people who claimed to be Godly but denied Him by their lifestyles and were out right disobedient and abominable before Him.

As a latino/Hispanic Christ follower, love is the biggest thing that most (talking 80% or more) Christians forget to act on a daily basis to reflect the image and character of our Lord to others no matter the skin color of the person. It is a fact that the Lord Jesus created people that are black and white and everything in between these two. Racism is no doubt demonic because the person who acts on it allows hatred and bitterness in their heart which then manifests in destructive actions and words such as insults in the form racial slurs (can lead to murder through ones mouth, because yes words are powerful and can be destructive), put downs, mockery of the other persons race, the exculsion and exploitation of people of a racial group, and to an extreme, the physical murder or lynching (like in the U.S) of a person who is different from the perpetrator. Depending on the person, it can lead to pride and arrogance (which the Lord seriously hates). In addition, living in th U.S, the countrys past has had segregation (which is carnal) which has led to many injustices and conflicts between people (there are people who deny and support this even some who claim to be "Christians" who don't realize they are ignoring or standing for something that is sinful and evil in its roots). In the Kingdom of God, the Lord Himself will not tolerate any form of hatred and segregation. In other words, there will be no room for things such as racsim and segregation. Plus, inner hatred towards others because of their race will give the devil and his demons a foothold into the persons heart which they will take more than mile with zero compassion only for the person (if they are unrepentant ) to later be exculded from the kingdom of God (yes, once again, there is no room for hatred in the Kingdom of God). At the end of the day, we are on the same team fighting against ones flesh and the dark principalities of this world. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there's neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ (Galatians 3: 28-29). Peace and blessings in Jesus name, everyone ❤

A lot of people think they don't have control over their thoughts, but we can have that control with the help of the Holy Spirit. "And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." - Mark 12:31 Jesus is quoting from Leviticus 19:17-18 which identifies the neighbor being spoken about as a kinsman, or in the context of Leviticus 19, Israelite kinsman. The English word brother here is rendered from the Hebrew word 'āḥ which is a word that means physical kindred. "Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD."

I really liked this video, thank you! I wanted to add, that to the best of my understanding, Moses was Hebrew and he took a wife, Zipporah, who was from India, according to Tyndale's original version (some say she was Ethiopian). I've met true Hebrews and they seem to have a lighter skin tone with generally beautiful green eyes, whereas Zipporah was a "Cushite", and "Cush" means "black" (Numbers 12). That to me is a really good example of an inter-racial marriage that kept God in the center of their marriage.

It’s so clear in scripture that a baby Christian would know better. In America, some people were taught that they were better than Blacks. Read it in order and and you will be expecting what it's going to happen next. Think about it, Hell and Heaven are real, you can go easily to hell, be careful, the worst place you can ever imagine. Check some videos about it, atheists have been clinically dead and all of them say the same, hell is worse than you can imagine. In ch. 10, he said that whoever didn't send their families away would be cut off and their properties forfeited. That's how serious a matter it was. Jezebel was also an ancestor of Jesus(2 Kin. 8.16,18, Matt. 1:8), but it doesn't change the fact that Ahab sinned against God by marrying her.
