Trust NC like the gospel. This might sound funny but NC has worked 3 times for me with the same person. Always disrespected me..The longest I went was 62 days before she cracked. Second time it took a month. She kept dying inside coz I went absolutely radio silent. Third time she took two weeks. Now she's learnt alot. NC is the best way guys.

I do believe though that people can reset things after a year or so apart. In a years time a lot of changes can happen. This obviously depends on if they still want to try after a year.

Out of curiosity, why do you watch these video's then? I've seen other people make similar comments. If you don't want them back, no contact is easy. block their number, and social media accounts, and move on with life. No contact is hard for the people who want their ex back and have to suffer during the separation hoping that the ex reaches out.

A big part of moving on is understanding what you're going through and what the other person might be going through, and Coach Lee's videos provide that in spades. Coach Lee's videos aren't JUST about getting your ex back, nor are they barred from anyone who doesn't want their ex back. Use your brain, you fool.

Going on 3 months of crickets between I and wife of 7 years. I'm blocked on everything and she's halfway across the world with her family. Only verbal divorce, nothing official yet. Problem is we tend to make decisions based on our feelings True love is selfLESS and action. A healthy relationship is based on mutual trust, respect , mindfulness . I have fallen out of attraction with numerous women . Unfortunately, I didn’t understand commitment and unconditional love . @@Darkchylde50 He came back fully but I definitely still needed the patience to navigate through those mixed signals and meditate on the feeling of letting the old relationship die. Now we’ve rekindled our relationship and it’s better than ever. It’s cliche but no contact is for you, to determine if you want to rekindle things, if you want to start again, or more importantly, what the hurt you’re going through tells you about what you want in life. It was a very spiritual process, getting him back, but the best part about it has been being able to handle uncertainty and ambiguity better. Not assuming everything everyone tells you, and a bit of faith. It takes time and hurts like a b***, but I promise, if you let the universe guide you into how you’ll be healing - use your pain as a catharsis to better yourself - you will be gifted with what you want most: them, closure, or a fresh start.

Mom hacks, what Coach Lee is saying is the person who dumped you MUST be the one to call you. If you were dumped, DO NOT CALL THEM. If he dumped you and calls you, answer the phone. Thank you coach Lee for your amazing inspiration. It is so practical and realistic. I have listened to many coaches who advised that I should date many girls tomake my ex jealous. But that's not me. NC didn't work for me; as far as bringing my ex back. She did make an effort to come back after almost two years of breaking up with me. She said she dreamt about me often. She even went to an extent of faking her death in order to get my attention. I was no longer interested; although I still miss her a lot. I moved on with my life. NC did work for me in the sense that I became a strong person [in her eyes, at least]. I took my power back - that she had diminished over the years.

Something I'm noticing across Lee's videos is that oftentimes he'll pin or favorite a comment success story and it'll push that to the top and all the other people are pushed down, and you'll notice Lee will also talk about those other people too in his vids. Honestly scroll down the comments and you'll see more than enough success stories he hasn't touched. If that doesn't tell you to trust the process, idk what will. Week 2.5 of NC, I was starting to feel pretty good but I opened Badoo and bam my Ex right in my face. Deleted my account, equivalent of just logging off and going home. Dating is just way too soon 1 month from breakup.

(4months process) However, doing the self work in the process of no contact, made me a different person, and very fast i ended the "final push" that we had. @@zb5436 time will heal things. Secondly, it is little different for man and woman.... if you partner reaches out, and ghost you again, it is over for sure i think. You dont need stupid games, life is short. Emphasizing i am always for love and for relationship to last, but playing stupid infant games is a reflection of immaturity and insecurity. She did not reach out, and even dough we live in a same building(what are the odds), i was simply walking by her when i see her, and i have looked in other direction. I was respecting the no contact rule. And it did payed off, but she didnt progress at all, with time she was more and more insecure. She contacted me first, and this time around i was controling the situation 100%, trust me, but i did found out some stupid things she did in the process of no contact, and being that i am a old fashion guy, i simply ended it very ruthlesly. I am not happy with the outcome, but i didnt want to lose my musculanity for a person that does not value me at all. This "nobody" was an ex "friend of mine", that literally used to fix my car and stuff around the house for free. I used to make him a coup of coffe, because this guy is a bum, junkie, alcoholic, a divorced 50 y.o. etc... since this guy also used to live in my building, i was seing him a lot since i walk my dogs a lot. We were never friends, more a guy from "the hood" i knew. He also was fixing my and her laptop's, and when she "dumped me", she called him and asked him to fix her laptop again. But here is the catch, she knows me! She know that i would never tolerate this! I found out one day, a month after we got back together. Out of the blue, when things were "great", i asked to see her phone. She gave me the "dog and pony show" for 2 hours streight, and finally when she gave me the phone, i found text.... this bum was hitting on her, and she was playing him as well. I dont think she slept with him, but dude, she went to his crib alone. She knows that this is a RED CARD with a guy like me, and she still did it. Since this guy is a joke, he was coming on to her, and she was playing him. But in some paragraph of the text, he wrote her:"(my name) is crazy, you should dump him, and she replyed - EXACTLY!". Once i saw this, i just slowly gave her the phone back and told her to leave my life for ever! She then tryed to fight me and since i am an very serious amateur boxer, i just calmly "escorted her out of my apartment", and closed the door. Later she text me "screw you", because she was humiliated, which was well deserved. Now, if she came to me after we got back together and said: "baby, in laste 4+ months i did this and this, i saw this and this guy, etc", i would respect her and i would said i have to think about it. Since i am and old fashion man, i would never tolerate this, but i would respect the situation. Trying to do things behind my back, is a red card. End of story. This woman have recieved life changing(!) favors for me, and her whold family have financial benefit from this. She also gave her hand, and promiced her self to me in front of the Isus Christ(in Church she promiced that she will marry me), but todays society is insaine. People are saying one thing, talking the other, and thinking the third. Long story short, let the good lord repay her by her deeds, and me by mine. I will rather ba alone and a MAN, than a married wimp PU**Y guy which will be "happy to have a woman". Que sera sera....

But the major point I will preach till I die for everyone is this: if and when you know why they left, and you bring this to their attention, and they act childish or don't even want to try and work on it if the relationship was nothing less than good and faithful, is laziness and lack of respect and drive. Dont settle for someone who has no drive to work on it, that is absolutely unhealthy. Take it from my experience, I learned the hard way and it has only opened my eyes and made me realize what not tolerate and, and the signs of this from now on.

Coach Lee. We have technically been broken up for over a year. Within that year we not been able to stay away from each other. We talk just about every week, still hangout, sometimes be intimate. Your videos have kept me sane. Thank you so much, Coach Lee. But does this concept work on a 3-months passionate, intense relationship? We spent every day talking on the phone and when we were physically together it was always sweet, loving, and intimate. He ended it all out of the blue, going from pursuing me relentlessly, telling me how much he needs me and can’t wait to see me, to telling me this is not good for his alcohol recovery - that his therapist and clinicians warned him not to get involved in heavy emotional attachments right now (he is fairly new to recovery) - even though I was very supportive and encouraging of his recovery. Coach Lee, you've made a video about blocking an ex and why you shouldn't do it. I didn't block this person, but I did unfriend them on facebook. I can't undo what I did as I could with blocking. They can still contact me, but can't see my private stuff. I'm just wondering in the scheme of things how big of a mistake this was? I didn't know about no contact at the time, and did it because of emotion. I wish I could undo it, but I can't. I'm 99% certain this person is a fearful avoidant (based on their history, and things they shared with me). I believe what you're describing is called bread crumbing. Here is my personal advice (I'm not a coach). If they reach out to you, do as Coach Lee says and respond politely. If they however drop off again, ignore their next message unless it's something really meaningful. Some exes are doing as you describe, checking in. They want to see if they could still get you back, to feed their ego and make themselves feel better in the break up. By ignoring them, they can really feel like losing you. This is a risk though as they may give up. I would do this though if they reach out once, and then appear to ignore you after you respond politely... Only when they really reach out to you (apologize, asking you to please respond), or want to talk on the phone or meet up should you respond.

Coach Lee, I am wondering how this applies to my situation. I was dating a girl for about a month, and it was a bit of an on again, off again thing. I was always able to talk her back around and when we did meet up, it always went well, and she always initiated post-date messaging. She spoke about future plans with me. Despite some speed bumps it did seem to be progressing. Then one night she called me and told me someone from her past had come back from overseas, and she was looking to pursue that. It was heartbreaking for me. I really liked her and thought we had chemistry. I guess my question is have you ever seen something like that turn back around? What if we did reach out, act upset and try to get them back till they ignored you. Obviously going no contact but the chances are probably severely lowered due to chasing? I did it because I feel like she felt I didn’t want her due to actions/arguments. But as you say it was already too late.

He has other videos about this topic. Long story short, yes you likely lowered your chances, but the best option remains no contact. There's still hope and she will soon wonder why the guy who chased her is not chasing anymore. But for your sanity, it's better to lose all hope, it helps tremendously with the healing process and it doesn't change anything on her end, it only gives you more power.

Just my opinion but things can still work, but it may require more no contact time. There are a lot of people who have messy breakups, and get back together. Time will allow the memories of the chasing to fade.. I heard a story recently where a husband basically did everything wrong. He got blocked on everything, even begged her outside her house. He broke no contact several times. Finally it took 6 full months of no contact before she agreed to meet for coffee after reaching out to him. They have been together for 3 years now and happier than ever.

But if she saw changes and were open to talking that would be interesting. I’ll try to remember to follow up on this thread in 6 and 12 months

My ex girlfriend reached out literally just the day after dumping me. To my two closest friends to tell them to give me extra love and say her goodbyes. And then to me that night to say “sorry I did this to you” and to “check you’re doing ok” she even said it’s pry best to do no contact but I’m here if you need to talk… no contact for 4-5 weeks now… we never fought once… I’m gutted.

We spoke a little and she ended up coming back to an after party at a close friend of mine. Church every Sunday, super close to her parents, no half naked pictures on SM, the only child. Super good girl. Dated 8 months, she met my kid, I drove to her every other weekend, no fights, good relationship. Then she ended up because she didn’t want my son to hate her if I moved to her because eventually when he gets in school, either his mother or me would get full custody meaning I could possibly spend less with time him if I moved to her. I am doing NC. My ex reached out a day after the break up. Asked me how I was doing. Said I am fine and asked her the same. Told me she misses me and I take care. Told her thank you and take care too. After a day, I was left on READ and she deleted the I miss you message. After that, silence for 3 days and counting. I saw her watching my stories though. Thoughts? reason for break up: we both love and care for each other. the reason for our break us is her parents being against us and she is hurt and exhausted as they torment her over and over again. said they'll never approve us no matter what she says to them. Hi Coach Lee, I'm on 55 days of no contact with my ex girlfriend of 4yrs and 10 months, we are neighbors in the same complex, we never fought, we got along well. She dumped me 2 month ago for another guy, I never begged, chased, or smothered her, I accepted the break up and on the same day I began listening to your videos. 2 days ago I ran into my ex girlfriend who was with her mom at the front of the entrance. I was ready to say hi, but they both looked away and went by me as if I wasn't standing there, so I kept moving along with out saying a word. bestnottoknow, do you think that you may be the reason? It's possible that she still cares. You can't turn off love like a light switch. Why don't you call her? At this point, it can't hurt. Kandi, I agree that it's good when people can do that. But it's not that easy for most people. Most people can't flip a switch and be over it or "move on." Most people have a normal and natural grieving time that includes shock, anger, sorrow, and eventually, acceptance. Being able to simply flip a switch is not emotionally healthy. Letting go is more of a slow development than a quick flip.

If I’m very confused about the stage he’s at but he does keep reaching out but when he does I always end up getting anxiety and saying something I know i shouldn’t that would seem to push him away. He does seem to continue to reach out. I assume I just keep saying nothing. But I’m almost feeling like I missed a window. It’s very early on though. Enough to know it can’t be purely platonic.
