Hello from southern California. I have an S shape scoliosis. Convex is on the right, and 😊 is on the left. My pain is on my right side. Is this the side that gets shorter and shorter? I was basically asymptomatic up to 1 year ago. Doing the child pose, as you demonstrated in one of your videos, helps relieve some of the pain. Your videos are great.

Oops . Happy face is an error. Meant concave.

Thank you! The convex side is the side where the muscles are long and overstretched. Most people have more tightness on the convex side interestingly enough even though the concave side is shortened.

If I have a right side thoracic scoliosis. Which way does your spine rotates. I never can remember. I want to see if I try to rotate some to the other way maybe it would help some how

The convex side (right side in your case) is pushed backwards and the concave side forwards.
