Cool to hear! I grew up in southern Oregon, not far from Redding... always thought Lassen was a bit modest versus the other cascade parks. But... this trip, greatly enjoyed exploring more of the park!

Hey! what dates did you go? I'm going next week and the weather says high 70's for curry village. Not sure if that's accurate if its over 100 when you went.

We visited in August - it’s definitely cooler now! Keep in mind... much of Yosemite is high elevation (colder) BUT the bottom of the valley is actually fairly low elevation and keeps quite a lot warmer. May sounds like a great time to visit.
