@aromatherapyoils5 жыл бұрын
Parnika Jaiswal that's so sweet of you to say, thank you. And thank you for being part of our Aromahead community here on KZbin. For this blend, in place of Trauma oil I might choose Jojoba, or if you have Avocado oil or Baobab seed oil either would be great options too for their anti-inflammatory properties.

Andrea, as always I welcome your assistance. No Myrrh, what can I use instead. Therese
@aromatherapyoils2 жыл бұрын
Hi Therese! Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) would be a lovely substitute for Myrrh in this case. 💜

Hi Andrea. If I make this for someone who is pregnant, can ommit Myrrh or substitute it with other oil? Thanks!!!!
@aromatherapyoils4 жыл бұрын
It’s good to be aware of a few safety considerations during pregnancy and lactation. Thank you for checking in about this! We recommend that oils used topically during pregnancy are kept to a 1% dilution. We follow the safety information from the book "Essential Oil Safety, Second Edition" by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young. They’ve compiled solid research and the most up-to-date resources on essential oil safety, and according to their work, you may want to consider using Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) instead of Myrrh in this recipe. When someone wants to use essential oils during pregnancy, we always recommend they check with their pregnancy health care professional, and consult with a Certified Aromatherapist to create safe blends.💜

After you complete the ACP, you can apply to become a Level 2 NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist. Aromahead is also a Level 3 NAHA-approved school. You're the best Andrea! Substitute for the myrrh please and could you please do a blend for depression, grief and anxiety? 💕💕💕

Kirsty I would go with Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) in this blend in place of Myrrh. I have a new webinar class upcoming that can help during times of difficult emotions and I think it would be perfect for this. I will be teaching all about "Natural Anxiety Relief with Essential Oils" on Thursday, March 28 at 1PM Eastern USA. You can find additional information and sign up at this link: courses.aromahead.com/natural-anxiety-relief-with-essential-oils I would love to have you join me.

Hi, Andrea. Can I substitute Orange with Lemon, and will the blend be as effective? I read somewhere that Lemon is also good for muscular issue. No mention about pain though. The aromatic perspective seems good also. Love to hear your thought. Thanks!
@aromatherapyoils4 жыл бұрын
Hi @a d! Yes, Lemon (Citrus limon) would be a lovely substitute for Orange as they are both abundant in the component d-limonene. 💜

Also, If I want to make a pain relief butter instead, which butter do you recommend using?I have kombo butter that I never used yet and not sure what to use it for. I would appreciate any recommendation. Thank you so much.

I could have enjoyed this and would like to have tried a few recipes but i dislike "flower remedies" greatly because i have never known them to do anything! I prefer to use something like Rosehip Seed Oil etc. i also noticed she used it on virtually all of her recipes and calling it "trauma oil" does resonate with me. But quite nice if you want to use that type of thing. I also worried about black pepper and ginger, definitely no good for chronic acid reflux users, don't know if it would be okay for rubs etc, maybe, but no sadly it is the "trauma oil" that was a turnoff. But i think the lady is bubbly and speaks well.
@aromatherapyoils4 жыл бұрын
Hi Rosina! We appreciate your feedback! 💜 Just to clarify; Trauma Oil is a skin-nourishing, pain-reducing carrier oil made by infusing three herbs (arnica, calendula, and St. John’s wort) in a base of carrier oil (usually that’s olive oil). It’s very nourishing for the skin and it has wonderful nourishing qualities. It offers relief all by itself, even without essential oils blended into it. You can learn more about trauma oil here: blog.aromahead.com/what-is-trauma-oil-and-three-ways-to-use-it-nl Hope this helps!

I really enjoy your videos. I can see and hear in your voice the excitement and joy that you do on your products on your videos. I couldn't remember the name of your sight and I had wonder what it was and thought in my mind Lord help me find it in what that I am looking for. And behold here Utube put it up on the feed where I found it. Isn't God good he will give us the desires of our heart if we just trust him and wait on him to come through for us. I just love all of your videos. I was looking for something for pain that I have suffered with for over a year. The over counter meds, prescribed medications, creams, rubs, patches, turmeric, none of them have not worked. With one prescription drugs that I took made my heart beat faster then normal. Then the 2nd one that was prescribed for me gave me bad migraine headaches. The steroids that was prescribed for me they didn't help me with the pain either. I thank God that I found your Utube Channel again it's an answer to my prayers.
