This is your best video by a long way. I like the way you just fucking laid it all out for all your subscribers (whether they get offended by the bluntness or not) Rob I know you’re a kick ass musician. And as good as you are and successful as you’ve been. You as a motivational speaker is what really makes you unique amongst your peers. Lots of‘s people can spit,mix,DJ whatever. But there’s only a handful of people can speak with the effect that you showed this video. I’m not blowing smoke up your ass either. I’ve had negative things to say about your videos before. Nowhere near as much positive. But enough to show you that my opinions are objective. I just finish recording and putting the finishing touches on my first two singles. I’m not gonna be corny and say that you helped make it happen. But I will say watching you being able to check in with you every night has been a big contributing factor. There’s been a few times where you remind me why I need to keep going. I grew up similar to you. But a couple of notches below. I was without parents but I had quite a few more years with them than you did. And even though Melbourne has some rough areas and they were the areas I was in. It’s got absolutely nothing on southside Chicago. Or any part of Chicago really. I’m studying working raising two kids. And still trying to do my music. Not “trying” I am doing music. I'm working on improving so when I release my stuff I'll be good. I've had people tell me that I can't do something and it made me work twice as hard. A person can be the crappiest rapper in the world and make it because they never gave up. A person can be the best rapper and not make it because they gave up. I heard a story of two frogs one was deaf and the other one could hear. They were in milk. A crowd was being negative to the both of them. The deaf one saw the reactions and thought they were cheering him on and eventually he made butter. There was a donkey that fell in a well. The farmer said oh he's trapped might as well cover him. The donkey shook the dirt off and begin to climb up when the dirt got dumped down. A crowd was being negative saying that he'll never get out. Eventually the donkey got out by shaking the dirt off and used it as a way to climb out. In life and our careers let's shake off the dirt and make a step up. We'll eventually make it too the top. I love how people try to hold me back, I take that as encouragement and they're afraid of me succeeding because deep down they know that I will. That's how I feel about it.
