Another Outstanding Video. The Marathon Fisheries, seeing the owners of your old boat and hearing their history, dudes from Two Conch in recognizing y’all and offering bait, amazing Resort, killer big water fishing, messing around on the sandbars, mangroves and puddling around on a kayak, a Key’s Sunset, clean and cook shots. All was wonderful. I have a 21’ bassboat and just love the Lower Keys. Extremely rare that I’ll go too far out but I can get into skinny water. Just cannot get enough of the Key’s Life. I fish from Canada to the Keys and I have to just smile when my fellow freshwater fisherman talk about fishing. They have no idea how amazing saltwater fishing is!

The lower keys are honestly such a completely different environment. We always hear people say they stay in Marathon more than they do up in the upper keys and we get it. It's a much different experience. I'm glad you enjoyed the versatility of this week's video. Thank you so much for watching.

I have lived in the keys for many years off and on. I was stationed there 4 times in the Coast Guard for total of almost 15 years. Most people cannot afford to live there let alone visit. I noticed you paid almost $100 for lunch for two people. It is a true shame how the keys have been commercialized over the years. I do love your channel and your video's make me miss it.

You know everything in life has gotten pretty pricey it's not just down here, it's the whole United States. But we also aren't the type of people to go out all the time and eat so when we do we like to enjoy ourselves. $100 for some fresh off the boat stone crabs and other items isn't bad. We completely get what your saying though. It's just the world we're living in unfortunately.

I like this area of the Keys a lot 👍🏻 Very scenic with the big bridges over the ocean! Bahia Honda is one of my favorite parks/beaches in Florida. Especially when the water is right 👌🏻 Looe Key reef and the back country nearby. The turtle hospital 👍🏻 Lots of cool places! Plus you can pivot to anywhere in the Keys being in the middle. If I ever hit the lottery, that's where I'd move 🤣

Beautiful trip to Marathon. The villa was stunning. The lunch at the fish house reminded me of lunches at East Coast Fisheries on the Miami River. Same set up a retail fish market that served as well. It isnot open anymore sadly. Your video was so well done, great work you two.

Hey There! It’s a Bimini twist on the brain, and then the leader is connected by a double Uni knot. You cut the tag end of the liter, but you leave the tag end of the braid. Great videos. My wife and I will be in Sugar loaf Key for a month this March. I have a boat rented for 15 days. The boat is a 2024 25' Avalon Pontoon with a 150 on it. I know it is not ideal, but I got some old people joining us. Lol. I have a start on fishing gear, but I wanted to know what style 16oz lead you were using. I always used a fishing charter and am now going on my own for the first time. I'm driving down, so I'm bringing light, medium, and heavy tackle. much for the videos.
