I remember riding Black Canyon in the 90’s on a Cannondale M 1000 AL hard tail with a Manitou elastomer fork. Never used to see many people back then.

Thanks so much for posting this video! You already confirmed to me in a previous video about riding Big Sky and Grand Targhee. I was looking for a must do trail while I'm there in a couple of weeks and Lithium looks to be that trail. Also, Next time you come to Bentonville swing by Tulsa and ride Turkey Mountain. We have great things going on here using the same trail builders.

They do that kind d of stuff on Loveland pass in Colorado in the winter for skiing and snowboarding just pit your thumb up and someone will take you to the top

You need a bigger bike for Lithium . I ride it on a Canyon Toque. 175mm travel. Fox 38, coil on the rear.

Yes!! It's actually part of the Thule bike bag. Hands down one of the best bike bags ever. IT comes with a build in stand.

if you feel that is steep, come ride Baseline in near the town of Rocky Mountain, Alberta, Canada. Singletracks magazine in a 2010 article its one of the top 10 difficult and steepest places in the world to ride. I'll take you!

Could you ride places east of the Mississippi so that those of us who live in the east could get an idea about places to ride? Also I know why you let the dude ride first usually. That way if there were bears on the trail they would get him first.

I can't believe you ride that stuff in open face xc helmets and no body armor. I don't wear everything like I would at a bike park but knee, elbow, and hip pads plus an enduro helmet are a must and a minimum.

It's always best to be protected!! I never ride without my Knee pads or half shell or full face helmet just depends how much climbing ill be doing.
