Why use anything other than water and a brush? That's what I've been doing for the past several years. I'm eliminating as many chemicals (products) from my life as possible. I brush often and floss, and my teeth are in great condition. I don't know why we need to substitute with anything.

Don't use fluoride and refuse the treatment at the dentist, when they ask. My children and I use Pure Haven's toothpaste absolutely no toxins.

I am not sure if brushing with salt is the best idea... Using a salt rinse is a great natural mouthwash for sure, but if you're really concerned about chemicals, brushing with just water will work equally as well as brushing with natural toothpaste. As long as you're getting the biofilm off your teeth. :)

I have been use baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and 2-4 drops of spearmint or peppermint oil and of course I floss and use those little floss picks I can get under my permanent bridges with the end of the pick.

After watching this video I was super excited to go order that (earthpaste) as I myself do not appreciate fluoride toothpaste. Through proceeding and looking on Amazon the picture of the back of the tooth paste seem to be ok , but if you proceed to the details of the toothpaste through amazon sodium fluoride is one of the active ingredients! Anyone care to explain ?

I mean, too much of anything is bad (e.g. water). The warning on the back of the toothpaste tube also gives the warning for children under the age of two. Anyway, just my two cents.
