I shot a commercial for Porsche in 2011 (Porsche wanted a real owner and the campaign was called “Porsche. Engineered for Magic Every Day”). It took 3 hours to film my solo commercial which was 15 seconds long. It gave me a new appreciation of how much time and effort goes into short commercials.

While Fernando Olonso is a bonafied F1 rockstar, and Velocity Black go to huge efforts to capture and showcase what it is that they offer, with their state of the art camera equipment and all of the latest gear. It should not be under estimated just how good of a job a couple of You Tubers like Mr JWW and Yorky manage to achieve in the production of their outstanding videos with far less equipment.

We had the entire 2018 AMG range for a launch in the Namib desert...we were allowed to do whatever was needed to get them up massive dunes ..with brandnew factory vehicles 😂😂😂...we got the technicians to switch off everything electronic ,even the airbags...so full power and traction, tires at 1 bar ...awesome time!😊😊😊😊

The creativity that people put into photo and video shoots is always amazing to me. While this was "work" for Alonso, it sure seems like a nice way to make a living. I highly doubt on his days off he'd want to be asked the same questions he's been asked 100 or a thousand times. That said he seemed very gracious with his answers. Alonso's had an amazing career starting with Mindardi to become a two time world champion. I never thought he'd be back in F1 after he left and he just may get an opportunity to start fighting for wins again if Adrian can work his magic at Aston. I hope that happens - the more at the front the better IMO.
