I've been preparing for Indian Civil Services for over year now and take my word for it, the questions are nothing of such sort. The questions that we face are more Sherlock Holmesian, i.e., in depth and minute details of varied subjects as the syllabus we need to have a command on is what i would like to refer to it as "BROBDINGNAGIAN MONSTROSITY"..... The syllabus is a combination of syllabus of Bachelors' degrees in History, Geography, Sociology, Polity,Law, International Relations, Security issues, Public Administration, Social Welfare Sectors, Economics, Sc and Tech, Environmental Studies, Biodiversity, Ethics, Psychology, Philosophy and the syllabus of a Masters' degree in your choice of subject... SO, now you can understand why the Interview Board has no time for such trivial questions which are really elementary level... We get a plethora of difficult questions and the interviewer can ask any question from the above fields, even remotely related ones...

Those are interview questions. Not written exam questions. Main objective of these questions is to judge how good listener u are. Everybody wants to be champion in argument, but good listening is more important than argument. Your argument must start after completing whole listening regarding issue and other person's point of view. Doesn't matter, how much disagree u are with him/her. Civil servents have to attend lots of meetings every day. And this type of quality is very important. There r so many different types of questions too, except these. This is just a drop of ocean.

20 days should be the answer to that men and wall building question.Its a simple rate and time question with me.Like 1=8*r*10 so r=1/80 then 1=4*1/80*t and so t=20 .It makes sense too if men are decreased then it they wii take more days .Hence 20 days
