Main thing to keep in mind, that its almost always better to play what you're comfortable with. DO NOT try something new the day of. This is coming from someone who has been playing this game for 20+ years lol.

Good list! Just wanna add some extra insights: 1. All the turbo killer decks like Earth, Thunder Clap, and Quish Turbo need to have extra answers to scapegoat and control related shenanigans 2. I actually find 3v3 to be the best events for the Swiss cheese, because even if you do face deck failure your opponents might just carry you. As such, I think Last Turn, RGT, and THE GUN are all good picks (fuck library) 3. Stall burn is EXHAUSTING to play. If fatigue is a concern, skip it

just play chaos turbo. u have main deck protection against duo, which is the most powerful card ever and wins/loses duel on its own. so statistically if you play chaos turbo u will not get as punished by duo as other decks.

i think youre fine playing chaos or goat control. yes, these are the most played and everyone thinks that every deck gonna counter it, but every single player knows that and therefore the majority might very well anticipate to be way way less chaos and goat control and they rather try to counter the decks that counter them

I used to play at IRL Goat locals till this year when they moved retro to Wednesday and swapped Goat with Edison. People truly can get stuck and not understand the pacing of matches being based on the decks being played and to adapt. Your advice clearly is aware of adapting, mental fatigue and time, which is why I called most of the choices you made, lol.

I am attending but I don't know which format I will playing. I am not playing the 3 v 3 as I couldn't find a third team member but I will attend the Edison or Goat side event.
