Everyone is over complicating this. DJI v2 with an analog adapter. Runcam has said they will continue to sell the air units. Analog adapter for everything in between. Simple decision. When another company proves they have a solid system switch if you want to. The only thing that will make me switch from DJI v2 is if orqa came out with a digital system that was solid. But in the meantime I will buy air units from runcam and carry on with life.

Using DJI with an analog adapter still adds quite a bit of latency from what I've heard. Which defeats the purpose of using analog for racing in the first place.

@intensegamer75592 жыл бұрын
I'm fairly new to the game but have some technical expertise (being an engineer). Early adopters usually don't care much about cost (at least they shouldn't), so whatever. But if you are looking for reliable performant tech and best bang for buck NEVER buy into it in the first production year. The rest is up to preference. Imho HD Zero as well as the Walksnail/Fatshark stuff will have to mature for a couple more years until they can finally satisfy the majority of users. Also, there is (or at least will be) a battery issue since digital HD footage needs way more processing and transmission power to work nicely compared to analog. That's just physics - and no one beats physics.

People who say analog is cheap are out of date. It was calculated many times, even JB said that good analog setup costs more than dji's digital. Also Avata drone is comming out really soon and it's now clear that their new goggles are backward compatible with goggles v2 and airunit/vista. They will be released by end of August. The only pros at the time of going analog is if you're racer or 1s micro.
