I like the brush! The blue one I'm using is better for harder to reach areas since it's a bit longer. These are my first brushes from them. 😁

@@nukakitten They're my go to synthetic brushes at this time. But I also really enjoy the Blick Art Supply red sable brushes because not only are they not an arm and a leg compared to other brands? The one #1 size brush of theirs I have is holding its point really well. I usually kill the points on my brushes in pretty short order, so that's saying something.

Saw a video last week and refused to sub for one very simple reason: step 1 wasn't priming the mini. What sort of madman paints minis without first applying primer FFS!?! My great ocean was perturbed. Well, I'm willing to say I'm probably wrong, primer is understood as a given, my great ocean can suck it. Fantastic work, love the enthusiasm, and appreciate the technical analysis.

The other option is to base it in kislev flesh and wash is in serphaim sepia (theres like a 30% chance i spelt thaf right) and layer back with kislev flesh. It should be easier but it won't have the undertone. 😁

Nuka why not spray prime the figures masking the parts you don't painted gold. Either with tape of white glue. Your chose of gold spray is much greater than a Citadel paints.

If I had an air brush or a gold rattle can than maybe. I personally don't like the GW gold rattle can but it's been a few years since I tried it. I do know GW has been changing their paints for sometime now

​@@nukakittenTestors makes a great rattle can metal spray paints(Testors 1846MT 3 oz. Lacquer Spray Gloss Paint, Pure Gold). I did my old SM's in chrome then Candy Apple Red and they 'POPPED'. It's easy to put on nice easy even coats. Latex gloves are a must. Love you videos. You are a joy to watch.
