And then when Far Cry 6 came out. In 1 of the DLC's, It turns out Pagan Min (the enemy in Far Cry 4) was the one who caused it. Hopefully the people of Montana will get revenge in a future Far Cry game.

I love and hate that pagan (or Ajay) officially did it. Love it because it ties all the games together and makes it so that we have an official answer to how the world got nuked. Hate it because originally, if you listened to the radio it explained that there were currently escalating world conflicts at the time making us assume it was either Russia or North Korea, which was cool because it rewarded observant players with an explanation.

The only way for Fallout's apocalypse to be real, is if they had somehow actually developed and used cobalt infused warheads as their main ICBM. Today's nuclear warheads in real life hold radiation that rapidly decays. Far Cry: New Dawn actually took a more realistic approach as it was not set in retro futurism like the Fallout series. If cobalt bombs were somehow actually sustainable, you would see deadly amounts of radiation lingering for just over a century. But with the small amounts of uranium in the actual bombs most countries have today, the majority of the harmful radiation would be weathered away in under a year. The thing that would be hardest to survive, is nuclear winter and (almost) everything bring burnt to ash.

Fallout was worldwide nuclear winter. Farcry 5 was like 4-6 nukes going off. They tested more than 250 or so nukes in the 50s outside of vegas in real life and look at it now same as the day it started lol.

OMG I didnt expect I would be so excited to get Far Cry New Dawn after completing two endings of Far Cry 5. Lol its underrated and I cannot denie to people it deserves some hate but for me not much. Looked if u really play it u must see that its fps is very optimized af. Running to my pc at least 60 fps on high settings then 71 fps max for me(GTX 1650, Intel I5 2900F) . There might be bugs to encounter but its not game breaking please. If u hate the ending then u dont really don't understand the point it. You would also hate it more if the ending was a hella good shit that u finally got Seed down to his cell. Imagine not only u establish a bullshit boring character, you also destroyed the serious points it definitely showed worthy and important. Hence, why would u call something Far Cry if its being a typical good ending for everything?

Well, in all technicality, both you and the game are wrong. According to the Department of Civil Defence, the DOD's documentation, The Department of Health and Human Services, AND Britannica. Recent studies through nuclear testing found that seven hours after a nuclear explosion, residual radioactivity will have decreased to about 10 percent of its amount at 1 hour, and after another 48 hours it will have decreased to 1 percent. Meaning that - even with numerous detonations - it would be safe to go outside within 2 weeks or even less. Due to the rapidly decaying uranium used in modern nuclear warheads and the weathering effects of our planet, the hardest part of survival after nuclear war would be the survivors. That and the major lack of sustainable crops as the sun would be hazed out due to the massive amount of rock, ash, and debris that would be ejected into the atmosphere. And the massive amount of smoke that would fill the air from so much catching fire and burning after the initial explosions. It helps to not rely on movie and video game stigmas for your information on nuclear war (a very real possibility).

Its the fact that so much rock, ash, and debris has been ejected into the atmosphere along with the smoke from everything burning around the world. This has a heavy effect on the atmosphere creating what they call the "nuclear winter". Which cools the global temperature to around 15⁰-25⁰C which in reality is between 59⁰ and 77⁰F. Which, for global temperature, is pretty cool. But humans do not possess the power to even send the planet into a new ice age. We're not REALLY that powerful. The second hardest part of survival, is the enemy troops of who bombed us marching through the country with planned CBRN gear. Most nuclear superpowers today have an invasion plan mapped out immediately following the nuclear strike. At least the United States does. As they're only in use for tactical and strategic reasons. There's no strategic value in making a country you wish to conquer, an uninhabitable wasteland. Nuclear warheads are most often aimed at infrastructure, stockpiles, and military targets. Most post apocalyptic games and movies like to revert to and create their own stigmas about nuclear war. It helps put your conscience at ease when you actually do in-depth research on the reality of it. (And before you mention Chernobyl or Fukushima, those were highly concentrated amounts of pure uranium. Not a small amount needed to trigger nuclear fission in say a bomb). Hope this helped.
