I had deleted his number so I had no idea who was calling. He tried with a: "My name starts with an M." No idea, buddy. He then said his name and I still had no idea. The thing is that everyone called him by his surname and so did I. We had only dated for such a short time that his first name never really stuck in my mind the same way his surname did. I finally figured out who he was and he invited me to a party next night. I went with a friend and hung out a bit with my ex over the next week, and then we never contacted each other again. So not much really happened.

I learned very quickly to never involve myself in my ex-wife's affairs in any capacity whatsoever.
